Transferring spirits.

I'm a bit lost...so if you want to transfer to the same weapon type (sword to sword) you will have the weapon returned to you? I want to clarify since I'm thinking about getting a my cutlass and putting an ego into that.

all right...so if I want to save the item, I could change it to another throw away weapon then switch it to a new type right?

Yes, but a lot of stats will be lost in the process.
