Emain Macha NPCs?
I WAS going to reply this onto the NPC's are all dead O_O thread, but it became protected, so, here it is.
Emain Macha Cook-off in half an hour from this post's writing. When the cook off ends, all the NPC's who help with the Cook Off (I.e Gordon) will respawn, meaning they are able to be spoken to again. Fleta, Nao, and Rab were all unaffected by this hack because they respawn. Unfortunately this will not affect Weapons Shop and Healers House, but at least we will have out food. :D
Gordon, Glenis, and Catin, sitting at the Cook Off spot, still dead, hopefully they will respawn alive. If this counts as respawning, and not just movement.
I think it's just movement.
Since, the NPCs disappear in their original position. Sounds more like moving.
Then what about the NPC's that spawn in? Shouldn't they be alive? Since they aren't around (that I know of) naturally? Thinking about that, maybe the spawning has nothing to do with it. Maybe the reason Fleta is alive is because she WASN'T spawned when the Hacker hit, and for Nao, well, she only spawns for one player, so it's impossible to hit her, really.
NPCs That walk around aren't dead. On other other hand Tetra who stays still same goes for Aer, on the same location isn't dead, meaning your theory is a bit off.
I'm going to assume that someone tried to kill Ferghus, but accidentally set off an epidemic that killed every Tuatha de Danann and non-violent Fomorian.
But seriously, I find it rather annoying. You can't really do anything in the game as NPCs play viable roles, and without them...
I was just hypothesizing, I know that theory isn't correct, but I think we can help Nexon fix this faster by trying to figure out why NPC's like Aer, who stay in one spot and do not respawn, are still alive.
Oddly some of the NPCs like in the banquet, like the Banquet helper was dead. The guy with the afro was also dead, I think one of the walking NPCs was dead also. But the guy with the bat suit is still alive o3o.
