Rollback (2011.08.22)

No official announcement by Nexon has indicated a rollback. There is no refunded NX, and check your purchase log to make sure; they have given current Nexon customers (unsure if it is all Mabinogi players, or those who have ever made a purchase for Mabinogi) 10.3k NX (possibly as compensation for the issue). This addition is filed under "Prepaid-Event 10030 NX". Please refrain from posting anything on the front page without confirmation by Nexon officials themselves.

On a side note, it may be that people are receiving compensation for all NX spent in the last week (or other amount of time).

By my calculations, the compensation must be for NX spent from around August 16-18 to now. I say this because, looking at the NX that I've spent from the 18th onward, it totals to the NX I've gotten recently. (9,500+330+200=9,500+530=10,030)

Thank you for posting this! Many people on the NX forums have been posting idiotic threads saying that there is indefinitely a roll back.

Well, we HAVE been doing a "report as we go" sort of thing. In any case, I've stacked the evidence. There's a HUGE difference in implication of the terms "refund" and "compensate". My purchase log is still intact, there has been no announcement concerning rollbacks, and even on a less concrete scale, there would be no reason to do a refund instead of a compensation.

But, for the sake of giving leeway for revision so that there's no accusation of us making any speculation, it has been stated on the front page that it APPEARS to be so. The wiki is allowed to make speculations if they're very strongly supported, right?

The misleading information has been causing trouble on the forum, I removed it since its also beginning to create a bad name for the wiki.

Which misleading information? What forum? This forum? What was previously posted was strongly supported. Despite that, I respect your decision.

However, I believe that, by way of your judgement, that the line about players reporting refunded NX should also be erased, since it's clear that it ISN'T a refund. On another note, I don't see why you removed the developing news about the end of the maintenance. Or was that someone else?

I got refunded nx o-o...I only spent 50nx on arrows and I got 50nx back under something like "Prepaid EventNX" or something likee that...It's just a refund, not a rollback lol. there is no indication of an actual rollback, though it's possible.

Doesn't matter now, your facts were wrong. There was indeed a rollback, its better not to put misleading information like that on the wiki.

It wasn't misleading, since the story was developing. We're allowed to post developments as they go, and we did. There was no way that anybody would find out that we were refunded until the game opened up. There would be no way that we would know about a rollback ahead of time because it wasn't announced ahead of time. It was developing news, not misleading information.

However, seeing as his fiasco has passed, there is no point in further arguing this.
