Er, you probably should ask this question directly on Kevin's talk page, not here. Should I move it for you, or do you want to do it?
I'm pretty sure that that note goes into their "Other Information" box. Admittedly it looks like two versions of this item, one ordinary and the one from creating a giant so it might warrant a new page...but for now I think saying something like "However, the version of this item received from creation of a giant character cannot receive Special Upgrade" is fine.
