It's technically 4x, but it's not a 2x multiplier...it just shows each training count twice. For example, it'd show two counts of "Gather Hillwen Ore" in your chat box each time you gather instead of just one.
I know, huh? I'm not sure if it's a bug...it could go either way I guess since it's "the mother load", maybe it's intentional.
The best way to see what I'm talking about is by actually gathering from the pile yourself. :x But if you had a 1x training boost (no boost, in other words), you'd get two counts of training from that pile every time you mined from it, both of them modified by any boosts you're currently getting. The part that's semi-hard to explain is that it actually shows up two seperate times in chat when you do it. Basically, at Rank F, each gather would show "Rare Mineralogy +0.8" twice in the chat box (same for every other requirement you happen to fill). Make sense yet?
I know what you were talking about, but I was just asking if you actually got 4x training (the "glitch" + life event). o_O
