You sure it isn't just the melee/initial hit prior to explosion?

I'm sure. We've done this multiple times and when we use Support Shot AFTER the initial hit my explosion damage, roughly 40k, is a little less than my un-Supported Blaze's crits, roughly 50k. The Supported explosion isn't a crit either.

That sounds strange but I'll take your word for it. Just really odd that this is one of those "special cases" for magic. It's practically unheard of.

I didn't think it'd work either but it does. At least before the Magic Renovation. When I can I'll test this again to see if it's still applicable.

I can confirm as well. I've used this strategy before, though the archer must be very good at reacting with his support shot so that the shot hits between the first and second hits of Blaze. I haven't done this in forever though so yeah, it might've changed. I doubt it did though. There's also a thread on the support shot discussion page on this already Mikaya. :V

I think there's an edit limit, and the edits have to be valid/for the greater good.
