There are several different terms that players commonly use in Mabinogi. It will be a little helpful to know a few of these terms, since many terms have to be shortened to make room in advertisements. I don't think terms change over servers, but I don't want to assume anything.

Common abbreviations and terms on the Ruairi server.

Ego - Usually refers to a weapon with self-consciousness. The official Mabi term is "Spirit Weapon."

FB - short for "Fireball." If it is followed by a number from 1 - 10, it's a reference to the page for completing the book.

IS - short for "Ice Spear." If it is followed by a number from 1 - 5, it's a reference to the page for completing the book.

TH - short for "Thunder." If it is followed by a number from 1 - 5, it's a reference to the page for completing the book.

LB - short for "Lightning Bolt."

LLB - short for "Leather Long Bow."

EJ - short for "Exploration Journal (page)." These are necessary for getting Ice Spear as well.

B> - short for "Buying."

S> - short for "Selling."

LF> - short for "Looking For."

R> - short for "Recruiting." Usually this is in reference to a guild.

D-blade - "Dragon Blade."

D-fang - "Dragon Fang."

BBFH - "Broad Brimmed Feather Hat."

nm - if this is used at the end of an advertisement, it probably means "note me." Can also be written as nmo, "note me [an] offer"

cmn - usually short for "common."
