Because everything you added could be moot if the variable is just made up.

Like many other given numbers in this wiki the numbers were arrived at using statistic's performed on many many thousands of data points, as opposed to reading them from say the game client executable, or having an actual coder of the game tell me.

If that is insufficient then fine, I'll make no bones of it, as the information is still technically public in the article history.

Can you provide your research somewhere (whether it be in a spreadsheet like excel or some mathematical formula or w/e)? If another user can test and prove that the results match up with what you have, then it can be put back.

A seconder of the information is very unlikely as it requires months and months of recording jousting matches, and then interpreting them. This of course requires a period of temporary insanity on the part of the observer to even consider the attempt a "good idea". If your staff includes such folks who do this kind of secondary work, then they can observe an ever growing sub-set of my data on my Youtube Channel (search Mabinogi Jousting, you'll find me).

As for what was deleted, the blanket full delete was un-warranted. The statement regarding use of the mouse has nothing to do with damage. The details about everything but the variable portion of damage can readily be observed by any one. If the onus for performing the legwork to find such a person to confirm this is on me, then nevermind and leave it all deleted.

I mostly deleted all of it, because if we're going to add a massive edit in, edit out the things that are already said and that was mostly due to my own laziness.
