I defeated yellow body/head, followed by white body/head, red body/head, and then finished off blue body/head. I autoattacked the first two heads and used final hit to kill the last 2 heads. Yellow wound up reverting to its original color for some reason, I thought it had revived but it was still dead when I went to whack it again.
Are you absolutely sure Final Hit was also affected? The patch notes, KR and NA, only stated Fireball, Thunder, Ice Spear, and Arrow Revolver. Hail Storm also has the same restriction in place, but like Final Hit the patch notes don't even say it was affected.
As for Musical Knowledge 2 -> 1, someone reported they could not obtain the quest without deleting their Fireball quest over a year back (long before Renovation), are you sure this restriction is no longer in place?
I am able to take Final Hit at the same time as Arrow Revolver, Ice Spear, etc. I cannot confirm Musical Knowledge or Hail Storm at the moment, but given that Final Hit was affected it is likely that they were as well. I will double check those quests as soon as I get access to them, but that may take a while.
You're testing it with a skill that's now doable "in tandem with other skills." I don't think that's an accurate determination; try testing it with something else, say Shock for instance.
Well, I'm able to take Campfire Rank C > B along with Final Hit, and I was also able to take Fusion Bolt along with Final Shot. I don't have access to any other skill quests, but I'm pretty sure it's safe to say the restrictions are gone.
Huh I didn't think they'd go so far to remove all the restrictions. Anyway, thanks for investigating; something new was learned.
