Organization

I have some ideas for how the pages for food list should all be organized. I will start doing this soon. Maybe after I'm done with dungeons. (will take a while) If anyone else has an idea, comment back (My talk page or this page). --Kevin 07:40, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

  • A different row for different prices and labeled with NPC. (Ex. Item prices that differ by different npcs, such as Ferghus and Nerys)
  • Put real price for items that are only dropped/tailored (Found out by mod users)
  • Remove or add <!-- Level ## --> tag for gains already listed (even though it cannot be seen, just makes it easier to add gains)
  • Don't think Social Exp charts are really required (would also take enormous space cause it has every item)
  • Fix all gray'd out areas
  • Make a page for everything! (Too much for me alone)
  • All values are counted as when the ego is in a Hungry state!

Ideal Chart (Continued from Organization)

# is the real gain.
This is just an example of an 'ideal' chart

Comments on Organization

No comments or suggestions of any kind? D: --Kevin 23:08, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

I'll try to help. ---Angevon

Angevon's Comments:

  1. We need an intro on how to read the chart for each page.
  2. I suggest we shorten NPC names when many NPCs sell the same item for the same price (e.g. so far I've used Fer for Ferghus and Shen for Shenon.
  3. Do we delete the data that's already been contributed for items with multiple prices? Long Bow for example has a wide range but many values are already put for it.
  4. We'll probably need to separate out male and female spirits soon since the pages are already huge.
  5. Agreed, we don't need a Social chart since it's just 1/5th of the item's gain value (or something like that)
  6. A page for every item? A dream is coming true!

Kevin's Reponses:

  1. That, I can do~
  2. Agreed.
  3. I guess, it'll remove all the junk from the chart (if I know what you're talking about)
  4. Doesn't really matter. Table of Contents is godlike :D
  5. Really?
  6. Hehe. The dream will come true in about 3 years :D

Comments:
For sections 9 and 10, it should at least be noted that it is not sold by NPCs. Maybe a newbie will look at the chart and assume that Teeth-Patterned Ankle Boots are sold for 40k (Just for example). Being too lazy to actually check the Shoes Chart, they look around several shops for the item. And later find out the hard way that no such item is sold by an NPC. --Ryo 22:04, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

  1. Note that all items on this chart have a link. Let's try to make all pages! CONTRIBUTE!
  2. It's called 'Price' for a reason. We can find out what it's dropped from on the page of the item
  3. Let's say this weapon is the same price for all NPCs that sell it
  4. Default price for item. All npc's sell at this price.
  5. Let's say this weapon has a different price from other NPC's
  6. Price by this NPC!!!
  7. Default price for every other NPC
  8. Price by other NPCs!!!
  9. This item isnt dropped!!! Try not to put 'Monster Drop' as price.
  10. The item worth can be found by mods if the item isnt sold in NPC shops. If you don't know it, don't add it. We don't want to be confused.
