Dates & Prizes?

I was mostly inspired by the JP Mabiwiki but something we probably want to at least keep in mind is that certain kinds of events are oft repeated and tend to have different prizes at times. The treasure chest event from memory has run for the third time now (the prizes definitely changed between first and second run) and we've had three different fishing events thus far. I know that other servers have repeated quite a few of the other events (Cotton Candy Sheep and Letter collection for instance) and they've had different prizes each time as well so I think we'd do well to keep this in mind even if we don't incorporate it into the wiki immediately.--Mystickskye 23:11, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

For events using the exact same name and no unique features to seperate them then perhapes add the events ending date to the page's name? For example, the last fishing event could be distinguished from the previous ones by it's unique prizes and hence has the name Robe Fishing Event. However, although the Treasure Chest Events had different prizes there was not any distinguishing feature that could be used to give them seperate names and so you would use their ending dates to seperate them. --ZRoc 21:25, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Miscellaneous Events and Event Quests

As each event now has its own page, is there a reason to keep an Event Quests page? Any event requiring a quest should have those details on its own page. Similarly, is a Miscellaneous Quests page required here? You could set up categories for different types of events in the Nexon Events (Old) category (e.g., Quest Events, Commercial Events, Skill Events, Miscellaneous Events, etc.) but is there any reason to do it here when there are usually only a few current events on at any one time? Also, why have a Miscellaneous Events page when a category would allow you to have individual pages for these events? --ZRoc 21:26, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Agreed. Since we make a new page for every event, we don't really need the pages that are named like that. ---Angevon 16:15, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

I'd like to make disambiguation pages for events that have run multiple times. With this, we can link to the event's disambig. page instead of linking to each individual event 3+ times when an item comes from every version of the event. E.g. the Broadsword came from every Dragon Boat Racing event so this event shouldn't need to be linked 3 times on the Broadsword page.

How do you want to archive the Back to School events? Put (Back to School 2011) at the end? For example Ancient Treasure Chest Event (Back to School 2011)?
