Hot Air Balloon Event (2011)

Description
What is Santa Claus doing dropping gifts six months early?! Why, it's not Santa, it's the Hot Air Balloon Event! The Hot Air Balloon Event begins on June 8th and will conclude on June 21st.
Every day at 9am, 12pm, and 3pm in Mabinogi time, lofty Hot Air Balloons will begin dropping care packages to all the people of Erinn. This event occurs at Hot Air Balloon festival grounds, northeast of Qilla Base Camp. Packages will be dropped near the event grounds.
While waiting for the packages to drop, chat with a few of the NPCs around the festival grounds. They sell party favors that include dice, confetti poppers, mini hot air balloon kits, and more! So hang out and chat with friends while you wait for the next drop!
When launching your own mini hot air balloon, you will receive a Hot Air Balloon coupon. Collect 10 coupons to receive a cotton candy. After eating cotton candy, you can get an assortment of different buffs!
As for the actual gifts that come from Hot Air Balloons, you'll just have to wait and see![1]
Basic Information
- The event takes place at a festival camp located southwest of Kaypi Canyon (northeast from Qilla Base Camp).
- Balloon is the NPC that introduces the Hot Air Balloon Festival to you, and points you to the festival grounds.
- May at the camp that sell various items, such as: Six-sided Dice, Party Popper Kits, Confetti Kits, Flints, Small Hot-Air Balloon Kits, Large Hot-Air Balloon Kits, Ticking Quiz Bombs, Conky Glasses, and Bald Wigs.
- Gifts will drop from balloons at 9:00am (09:00), 12:00pm (12:00), and 3:00pm (15:00) in-game time.
- You must stand inside the glowing DevCAT landmark to receive a Hot Air Balloon Festival Box.
- Gift boxes appear at your character's feet and you have one minute to pickup your gift box before it disappears.
- Gift boxes are locked to the intended character and cannot be stolen.
- See the list of possible items below.
- You can launch your own Mini Hot Air Balloon Kits to receive a Hot Air Balloon Coupon.
- Collect 10 of these coupons, and you will receive a Cotton Candy (Children's Day).
- Comes in an assortment of colors. (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo?)
- Eating the Cotton Candy (Children's Day) will temporarily increase an assortment of your stats as well as placing a graphical effect on your character.
- Collect 10 of these coupons, and you will receive a Cotton Candy (Children's Day).
