Details

  • Partners placed on Homesteads in Static Placement Mode can use Partner Motions and Gestures[1].
  • Partner Motions, also known as Basic Motions, and Gestures are body movements and facial changes that players can set their partners to use while in Static Mode.
  • In order to use a specific Motion, a Homestead Partner Motion Card must be given to the desired partner while editing their Partner Gesture.
  • In order to use a specific Gesture, a Gesture Card must be given to the desired partner while editing their Partner Gesture.
    • It is impossible to give Partners any Free or Premium Gestures because those Gestures do not have associated Gesture Cards.
  • The Partner Motion and Gesture window is only accessible while a Partner is set in Static Mode.
    • Each card is a one-time use and will only be applied to the chosen Partner.
    • The card is given through the window and not by using the item.
      • It is impossible at this time for a player to use a Motion Card.
      • Using a Gesture Card will add the card to the player and not the Partner.
    • A partner can have up to 100 Basic Motions and 100 Gestures at one time.
    • Motions and Gestures can be deleted. This does not return the card.
  • A Partner that has "Basic motion" selected will use any Custom Idle Poses from Equipment.
  • Partners will automatically switch to weapons when relevant to a Motion if they have some equipped in their off-hand weapon slot.
  • Partners will return to their previous settings if they are removed and placed back onto a Homestead.
  • The interval that a Gesture plays can be edited.
    • Setting the interval to 0 will make the Gesture continuously repeat from beginning to end.
    • Setting the interval to less than the duration of the Gesture will make the Gesture stop short and repeat early.
    • Setting the interval to greater than the duration of the Gesture will make the Partner Motion play in the excess period of time before the Gesture repeats.
    • The interval can be set between 0 and 999 seconds.
