Rua's Brother is a character in Rua's House which is located on the northernmost edge of Emain Macha. The house cannot be entered unless a player's character has completed Rua's Sidequest.

When left-clicking on him no other interaction is possible except for receiving the brief description given above.

History

Rua's Sidequest

On completing Rua's Sidequest, she confesses that her brother was injured during The Tragedy of Emain Macha and is now paralyzed. Most of the gifts given to her during the sidequest are in fact for him, although he cannot use them. When access to their home is obtained, he can be seen lying in bed surrounded by various pieces of armor which are probably gifts from Rua. Before his injury, Rua explains that he wanted to be a knight or adventurer and she believes weapons or equipment related to these professions are what he now desires. However, he does not or cannot ask for them directly and apparently she understands what he wants from the look in his eyes.

Rua only works occasionally at the Bean Rua Pub in Emain Macha because the rest of her time is spent taking care of her brother. When Rua is not working at the Bean Rua then she can be found next to her brother's bed. Rua calls their home a hut when she is explaining where to find it and indeed it is neither grand on the outside nor inside.
