Drop locations

It says that fragments can be obtained from shadow realms and dungeons in iria. While this is true, it can also be obtained from uladh dungeons, but only from the boss rooms (same applies to iria dungeons, based on my experience). Can someone confirm if the fragments are only obtainable from dungeon boss rooms + shadow realms?

Fragments drop from regular monster rooms. This may appear to be the case for you because your CP is too high, and therefore the monsters have a lower drop rate. Look under "Tips on Obtaining the Fragments" on the page.

All level monsters drop fragments.

  • The higher a monster's CP class, the more often they drop fragments.
    • Weakest monsters hardly ever drop fragments.

Also in the event description:

While adventuring through Erinn Dungeons and the Shadow Realm...

i just realised i posted this in the wrong page, since there's 2 pages about this same event. anyways, what i said was based on the current event, which conflicted with the description: Within the Shadow World, Fomor minions are dropping strange fragments that when puzzled together form a treasure chest. it didn't say anything about erinn dungeons, yet they still drop in them, but i feel like they drop more frequently in the boss rooms. Edit: Turns out both event pages lead to the same discussion page, which may lead to the confusion

I can confirm that it drops from both Iria and Uladh dungeons, and normal dungeon mobs. Ran Alby normal with a low CP character (white spiderlings were same level thanks to Abysmal pot) that has about 60 luck and managed to get a few chest pieces despite the being only a few rooms. Your difficulty may be due to either a high CP, or low luck stat.

does luck even affect drop rate? i thought it never did.

Luck does not affect drop rate.
