Talk:Boost
Why do you think that this is going to be more likely to be called "Boost" rather than "Flight Boost"? The internal name for the Ostrich's rush is PetBoost ~kotarou3 TALKCONTRIBS 06:35, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
- You mean "Dash" (xml/korean english name for pet "Rush" or NA txt name for "Assault" before "Charge" was released) or "질주" (korean pet rush/dash/charge), I'm talking about xml's SkillEngName (only 1 "Boost" skill) and korean txt names here, which is what nexon will more closely follow. The translations are unlikely to add an extra meaning with another word. "Dragon Pet Boost" is another likely name, but not "flight boost" because there is nowhere that hints that name.--Hengsheng120·TALKCONTRIBS 07:24, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
- We leave the skills as they are named in Korean UNTIL NA releases an official name. --kaede-kit 21:55, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

How Boost really works | 4 | 20:32, 18 March 2013 |
Lots of people don't really know how this passive skill works, so I want to explain it. First take off(fly) and head to whereever as long as it's in a straight line, Boost takes a few seconds (around 1-2) to activate, then the pet starts to lose stamina and the pet flies faster than normal until it's out of Stamina
A straight line isn't required to enter boost mode. Nor is it required to maintain it. You simply must never stop, even for an instant.
The rest I agree with.
Just to make sure, I tested this just now with my Ice Dragon.
- When using A/D to turn and holding the mouse to move forward, you must be traveling in a straight line to activate it.
- When using checkpoints on the minimap, it will activate even if the checkpoints are close together.
