"Cannot be sold to NPCs"

That is false. Someone should remove that line. (Even though it doesn't appear on the template page)

PlatinaKoki (talk)15:45, 31 August 2014

Did you really sell it though? Even items unsellable at npcs show a sell price when you try to sell it, but it wont let you sell the item when you click sell.

Meru (talk)16:25, 31 August 2014

It can be.

Yes, I did.

Yui puppet observations

So, naturally, I bought one of these little beauties first chance I got.

Dialogue is toggle-able via two options. ("Turn on Daily Messages", which are misc ones, and "Turn on Trade Messages")

CANNOT BE DESTROYED. There is NO DESTROY OPTION. She can, however, be dropped.

She does not have a timer, nor does she need to be activated via an option to be able to cast shields during Shadow Missions and Dungeons, reveal things, or activate Yui Strike.

She DOES reveal the correct dungeon orb. It has a small sparkly explosion effect periodically.

Reveal radius is identical to that of the Odd-Eye Belisha Support.

Magic Shield function is identical to that of the Odd-Eye Belisha Support.

Yui Strike hits for EXACTLY 5,000 damage every time.

Yui Strike also seems to be bugged right now - Damage is dealt immediately upon using the skill, but the enemies will not be struck until the animation finishes. For example, using Yui Strike on a bear will cause it to stand on the spot in its idle animation and an entirely black HP bar until the sword Yui summons disappears. Then, it will be struck for 5000 damage and knocked away. Additionally, there are no sound effects.

Buggyman (talk)22:17, 20 August 2014

That last part is probably just a delay in the attack. Pummel has that too; finishing an enemy with them gives them a black bar when they get "kicked" (which does no damage at all, since its the flurry of punches that does damage and the enemy immediately receives the flurry damage).

Do you mind checking if Yui Strike ignores Invulnerability and Passive Defenses? Because I keep hearing she does the former.

Infodude575 (talk)22:24, 20 August 2014

Tested on Amethyst Magic Golem - Yui Strike simply passes through with no effect. It doesn't hit 1, it simply ignores the golem. I tested it four times to be sure.

Edit: Yui Strike's attack radius is also apparently gigantic. I just logged in and used it in Filia, outside Longa Dungeon, and decimated every armadillo in render range. I'll be confirming that later.

Buggyman (talk)23:24, 20 August 2014

Err... try Arc Lich? Also try test it on any other golem and see if it hits those.

Is the attack radius an arc or does it hit everything around you?

Infodude575 (talk)10:28, 21 August 2014

Okay, it seems I lied. I just used it on a Shadow Commander for 1.8k-ish damage. Def/prot reduce, maybe? Perhaps it has an upper damage limit of 5k? Very curious.

I'll be testing her on Ceo Island in a few minutes. Her cooldown is freaking annoying.

Buggyman (talk)11:00, 21 August 2014

I'm curious to know if she does physical damage or magical damage.

Infodude575 (talk)11:17, 21 August 2014

Just tested to rather comedic effect on Ceo Island - Yui Strike does not effect Golems. At all. It simply ignores them. I used it on a group of easily 10 golems, and not a single one was struck.

Additionally: The user can be aggro'd during the skill, but cannot be attacked.

I will be testing magical/physical next. Arc Lich is a pain to spawn today, so I won't test that for now.

Buggyman (talk)11:22, 21 August 2014

Huh, Yui Strike possibly has the same untargetable list as Puppet's Snare / Frozen Blast / Shadow Bind / Shadow Cloak / Etc? If it doesn't work on other mobs listed I think it is safe to assume it does.

Infodude575 (talk)11:28, 21 August 2014

We'll have to see. For now, I'm gonna drop it on some zombies and see what happens. If it's magic or ranged, i'll find out then...

Edit: Damage is PHYSICAL. Melee, specifically, since I wiped out half the zombies in the boss room of Their Method.

AoE radius is circular and gigantic, easily striking every zombie in their method boss room. Additionally, Yui Strike has a chance to inflict Fighter Daze. I did not expect that.

Oh yeah, and she triggers heavy stander.

Edit 2: Tested on Unknown Men. She does not hit those, either. I think it's safe to assume Yui Strike is subject to the same untargetable list as Snare.

Buggyman (talk)11:40, 21 August 2014

I heard from someone else that Yui Strike hits Arc Lich which is included in that list (and dealt 1 damage), so there might be some differences.

EDIT: Never mind, he tested again and he said he accidentally hit one of those melee immune mobs. He did say he missed head doppelganger, which isn't snare immune.

Infodude575 (talk)13:21, 21 August 2014

It's apparently both unsnareable and advanced heavy stander list. I'll go see if it hits the plants in shyllien.

Blargel (talk)17:57, 24 August 2014

I'd say plants are more of a "rooted" than having advanced heavy stander. Might wanna try real advanced heavy stander monsters.

Meru (talk)18:01, 24 August 2014

What about Sasquatch?

Infodude575 (talk)18:04, 24 August 2014

It missed on the plants.

Commerce Dialogue

http://puu.sh/aR9WK/77e56e7d1f.txt (thank you Kiyoura)

Is it all right to put the dialogue on the page, just like we did for Trade Assistant Imp?
