Uhh....422:01, 12 February 2015

I know details says the it comes out a couple of times a day, in-game hopefully. But I am wondering if there is a specific time when they will spawn.

  • Upon logging in, you will receive the quest, Another Couple Formed.
    • Talk to Hanson the Handsome located at the south side of Dunbarton's square. Prompted: "I will help." or "I would rather you stay alone.". Either choice will give you Hanson's Proposal Balloon.
    • Choosing "I will help." will start the Wanna Get Hitched? quest.
    • Choosing "I would rather you stay alone." will start the Down with the Matrimonialocracy quest.
      • To pop Hanson's Proposal Balloon, you must equip it and then earn 100 Breaking Points by defeating the Statues of Love. Each statue destroyed is worth 20 points.
        • The statues periodically appear as a field boss in the north, south, west or east of Dunbarton a couple of times per game day.
        • The statues have 100,001 HP, are stationary, and do not attack.
        • Rock Throwing will do 10,000 damage to the statue only if the balloon is equipped. Other attacks will do regular damage.
        • Warning: Unequipping the balloon will reset all your breaking points.
        • After popping the balloon, ? event reward items will drop at your feet.
  • Another Couple Formed resets at 7:00 AM PST.

So how does this event work? I gave the girl the balloon and nothing happened afterward aside from the reward box, no quest to attack the statues or whatever? Was I supposed to do something different?

Also, I damaged the statue just fine with my regular attacks but my Rock Throw only did 0 damage without that statue-hunting quest; the current wording implies that they can't be damaged at all.

Infodude575 (talk)19:52, 12 February 2015

Quest is supposed to be short.

You either destroy his joke of a relationship and then go destroy sratues.

or say yes, deliver balloon and get the box. It's daily.

Is there a difference between doing the two?

Infodude575 (talk)20:10, 12 February 2015

Yes there is a difference. With the easy/short way, you get a box with one thing in side. That's siding for love and giving the girl the balloon. If you choose to break them up, you have to equip the balloon and then use rock throw on the statues. You can get what seems like between 3 and 7 items as a reward once you pop your balloon. While this isn't hard, it is more time consuming. You've got to hit the statue around 10 times (i never counted) and destroy 5 statues. If you didn't choose to break them up, you can't do damage with rock throw on the statues, and have no reason to waste your time attacking them.

  • Be nice: Faster but only one reward.
  • Be a douche: Slower but more rewards.

... Not liking the latter option... :/
