So there doesnt seem to be an old furnace in Filia anymore? Haven't checked Vales, but I'm assuming the same.

There's still furnaces in Vales. A weird conversation comes up when you talk to Meles about the furnace though. Not sure if what she says is a typo or not, but you can't use it there I guess. The Vales old furnace is still the same and functional.
