Talk:Guild Castle

From Mabinogi World Wiki

I thought the guild castle was in g3s4 with housing? O.o why does the tag say g4?

Because I don't pay attention to what happens on NA and just guessed? Kakurady had housing listed as G4. ---Angevon

I read off the mabi guild castle site that the numbers are: Stage one requirements: 50 Wood Board, 50 Firewood, and 50 Large Nail. Limit: Three days in real time. Stage two requirements: 50 Iron Bar and 50 Iron Plate. Limit: Two days. Stage three requirements: 5,000 Castle Masonry Is mabi correct or is wiki correct? o.0 -- Ladywinter 21:46, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

  • Sen Mag castle, on Alexina which just disintegrated reflects above. Dugald castle reflects what's currently in the wiki, on Alexina has never been built. If anyone on other servers can confirm above, please validate.
Sen Mag castle on Tarlach, is under construction at the moment and has the above requirements except that stage 3 requires only 2,000 Castle Masonary. I re-checked it just to make sure I hadn't mis-read it but it still says 2,000. Is it possible that the requirements can vary each time a castle is built? --ZRoc (Talk) 12:02, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
This should be changed to a table as there will be 3 housing areas all with different requirements. The requirements are static and do not change between castles collapsing. KisaiTenshi 16:15, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

Abb Neagh Guild Castle (Alexina) -

Stage one requirements: 50 Wood Board, 50 Firewood, and 50 Large Nail. Limit: Two days in real time.

Stage two requirements: 50 Iron Bar and 50 Iron Plate. Limit: Two days.

Stage three requirements: 2,000 Castle Building. Limit: Three days.

Dugald Guild Castle (Alexina) -

Stage one requirements: 100 Wood Board, 100 Firewood, and 100 Large Nail. Limit: Three days in real time.

Stage two requirements: 100 Iron Bar and 100 Iron Plate. Limit: Two days.

Stage three requirements: 1,000 Castle Building. Limit: Two days.

(I guess nobody noticed the times are different between castles too, as they previously didn't word-wrap, at this point in time both of the castles are not owned. Sen Mag is owned by my guild right now.)

Sen Mag Castle Manor (From June 2009):

Stage one requirements: 50 Wood Board, 50 Firewood, and 50 Large Nail. Limit: Two days in real time.

Stage two requirements: 50 Iron Bar and 50 Iron Plate. Limit: Two days.

Stage three requirements: 2,000 Castle Building. Limit: Three days.

If anyone knows how to do a wiki-table with this, let me know, otherwise I'm just going to do a standard html table. The Abb Neagh I'd consider "future content" subject to change, as it seems to have copied Sen Mag.

Field rock?

Where/what are those?--♫тιиα♪ταιқ♪ 22:42, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

Go into Dugald Aisle and you'll see grey rock outcrops sticking out of the ground all over the place in the area south of the logging camp (between the logging camp and the exit to Dunbarton). There are a few at the northern enterance to the logging camp (just a bit north of where the bots kill the raccoons). Equip a Pickaxe and start mining from any of these to obtain Castle Masonry for free. --ZRoc (Talk) 12:02, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Guild Castles and "Royal Possession"

As of my time of discovery (6/30/19), on the Nao server guild castles are set to 'Royal Possession'. I've inquired to Nexon concerning this and have only been informed that they're 'looking into it'. I have no way of checking Alexina to see if this is happening on there as well.

When you click on the castle menu it simply says "You may not auction this castle it is set to Royal Possession".

Clicking on castle information bulletin gives this dialogue.

Edit: I have screenshots of the other three castles that say the same thing but there seems to be little point. I'll update this when Nexon gets back to me with a better response.

Update: as of 04/05/2018 guild castles have been under 'royal possession'. Due to the new Auction House, it was determined that guild castles are no longer to be run by guilds and have been set to permanent GM control. I've been informed by a GM of the following:

We apologize for the delayed response and thank you for your cooperation.

Regarding your concern about the Guild Castles Error when you Bid which states " that they are in Royal Possession ", please be advise about the Auction house Home Update(Link). All Castles in the Marketplace channel are no longer able to be bid upon, as Houses are no longer controlled by the player guilds. Hope this clears up your concern.

Should you have any questions or concerns in regards to another matter, please do not hesitate to submit a new ticket with a detailed explanation of the issue. Have a nice day ahead! Sincerely,

GM Raskrellia Nexon Player Support

I will update the main page tomorrow.

Here is a photo of the response by Nexon America concerning guild castles for reference as the above mentioned article does not clearly state that guild castles were removed from player control.
