Is it me or do the quest items disappear on reset time (7:00 am PST)? I could have sworn I had extra potatoes and eggs, but the next day they're gone.

The eggs and potatoes are from the event and not natural items you find normally so nexon added a timer so they reset and remove from your inventory every 7am pst. Honestly kinda annoying to say the least however only those two despawn the other items remain in your inventory

That's... unusual. I don't recall event items ever expiring like that.

I suppose its something new they are doing so people cant save them for other times this event appears. Or at least that's what I think.

Hope that doesn't become common. I'm still holding on to my leftover Cat's Eyes in case Doki Doki Island returns again.

I dont think they will do that though so it shouldn't be much of a problem the cat eyes were before the event started so they wont disappear

If Cat Eyes disappeared daily that would be incredibly stupid. We make 14 a day and if all that vanished it would be impossible to get, say the wings.

Now if Silvervine Fruits and Fish vanished that would make me very upset since they're so annoyingly difficult to get.

For what it's worth, the Bingo Board is now useless. It says you can only spin it during the event period.

Same thing happened with boards in previous roulette bingos. (However, a character of mine who still had Roulette Bingo tokens from the 2012 event on their locked VIP tab was able to make spins with them in Fashion Bingonogi, as long as she had at least one token in her main tab!)

I'm pretty sure it's to prevent people from gathering 20 days worth of items. It's also only the items directly required for quest completion that disappear, so if you keep both the roasted festival turkey and the festival turkey dish in your inventory, the dish will disappear the next day while the roasted turkey will stay.

An alt on Alexina has been at 3/4 Double Yolked Eggs for several days without them disappearing. Perhaps they only disappear when the quest is reissued?

Well yeah, stockpiling only works if you get the quest each day, which requires you to finish the quest sooner or later to get the next one.

Are they able to be traded between players? What about between characters on the same account? I ask because Joe says something like you can participate with more than one character but only one can get the hat.

The seedlings arent tradeable i believe and im not completely sure if they can move throughout the account maybe they can move through via bank but that is the only way I can think of that they can move

From what i seen you complete the festival on an alt character as well however I'm not sure if it automatically goes to your character you set as main or if it stays on the alt character.

You can do the daily quests on your other characters, but the reward box will not give you a Seedling.

And speaking of registering, why has it yet to be mentioned on the page?

How often do they spawn?

They seem to spawn more than once per game day.

You need to kill a random monster in Dunbarton to get their Summon Scroll. It usually drops right after they disappear.

Summon scroll? You mean Fomor Command Scroll? But all that does is say when a field boss will spawn; it doesn't cause them to spawn.

Oh...I thought that was how field bosses where summoned. Guess its most likely once a day.

They spawn more then once a day. Its around 4 or more times from what i seen

Does lucky gather, skills, partner, etc affect the drop amount of the potatoes and eggs?

Yes it does. You can get huge or lucky.

Yes, I have gotten double harvests of both Petite Potatoes and Double Yolk Eggs with a partner, and lucky bonuses.

Are those a Ladle and a Cooking Table with the rank A prefix Sturdy enchant?

Well, I got Sturdy Sickle. The Prefix and Suffix Enchant "slots" are empty so it can be enchanted without losing the name "Sturdy". I hope it answers your question.
