- Why hasn't it yet to mention the Crusader Combo? It could say "After Shield of Trust blocks Mineral Hail and Celestial Spike is used to stun the Apostle, the Apostle becomes vulnerable to Judgment Blade." or something like that. Someone also got confused on how to train JB due to lack of mention on the combo.
- On a side note, why hasn't Shield of Trust also mentioned the Crusader Combo?
- From the Crusader Combo, according to User:Jiuhin, Celestial Spike amplifies Judgment Blade's damage.
- Wouldn't it be better to rename the "Defense" to "Apostle Damage Reduction"? IIRC that's the defensive measure being pierced, not the Defense stat nor Protection.
- The Apostle Damage Reduction "Reduce" is actually "Ignore", like Armor Pierce and Piercing Level. While it might be technically true in a sense that it's just 'reduced' only for Judgment Blade, it's very misleading and can easily lead players to misinterpret it; I'm pretty sure a lot of people aside from me assumed it meant my teammates would be doing more damage. (How Vindictus Nexon thinks critical cap = max critical damage is beyond me...)
- The Ignore only occurs during the Crusader Combo.
Sorry for not able to respond to this topic, had to wait for my friend (one of my team members) to upload the video, so I can explain in detail. After combo ends, you should see the fast Health Drop from 13.89% to 0% in 10 seconds.
The blade ignores Apostle's Damage Reduction during combo, and at the same time it applies the debuff to Girgashiy which reduce his defense (Passive Damage Reduction). However it does not reduce his base protection as it only can be lowered by Spinning Uppercut and Bone Dragon and nothing else. Two things to note.
- The debuff stacks and Breaking Lies enhances it (Most of my team members that I assigned them for blade have Level 11 Breaking Lies, some have Level 10 Breaking Lies.
- The debuff last for 10 seconds.
So it REALLY makes other people's attacks stronger...? Then again, now that we have more experience with the raid...
Any clues on how Breaking Lies enhances the Damage Reduction reduce/ignore?
The page says it scales between min and max damage, regardless of what weapon you're wearing. Elaborate, if you would please.
Does it use bare-handed damage?
Isn't min-max damage affected BY weapon?
Some people say it's based on weapon damage.
I don't even know anymore.
Judgment Blade uses whatever number is on your damage stat, which is directly influenced by the weapon you have equipped. If you think it could be worded better then go for it.
I seem to be doing more damage with dual wielding than single wielding. I have no idea if the 2x Sword/Blunt Mastery majorly contributes to this though.
Is Judgment Blade affected by defensive stats? If so, which ones?PhysicalWhich Passive Defense triggers against Judgment Blade?Heavy Stander- Can Judgment Blade inflict wounds?
im not sure if it can inflict wounds but i know, judgment blade can be canceled by using rock throwing
using r9 judgement blade w/ a bow at 50~100% wound rate doing 2k to a bear set to deadly inflicted no wounds
- In KR Testing, the range is 7m ~ 9m, but in NA it says 10m for all ranks?
- How long does the Defense reduction last for?
- Does the defense reduction thingy stack with other players?
- Is the defense reduction a fixed amount or a percentage?
Does Judgment Blade by any chance ignore Protection for Critical?
It would be pretty hard for me to check. I believe it would. It's area of effect nature to me implies that it would, since it attacks multiple enemies, and if you crit one you crit all.
It's something someone with crit under 100 should check.
I know it ignores protection for damage, since I was able to hit food dungeon monsters for more than 1 without a large table knife of glewyas weakening them.
Edit: Ok just confirmed it ignores protection for damage, as I was able to crit food dungeon mobs without having them be weakened first.
Hm, interesting find. But it doesn't seem to ignore Defense stat; I was doing 500s on the ingredients and 2.5ks on White Spiders, but I didn't thoroughly test enough.
EDIT: Never mind, no it does not ignore Protection for damage; I hit exactly a 1 on ingredients that wasn't "tenderized". It only ignores Protection for Critical.
Might it be possible that the Apostle Defense Reduction is actually Defense Piercing? That is, Judgment Blade ignores Defense in calculation but doesn't reduce it whatsoever?
This is becoming more and more plausible to me as I go.
Breaking lies level 5 didn't seem to do anything for anyone else. It definitely doesn't reduce his damage reduction for everyone else, because no one else started hitting double damage.
I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be a typo/mistranslation.
Is the +5% damage from Smiting bonus a flat addition or multiplicative?
I'm really curious...is it Judgement Blade or Judgment Blade? To me, it seems like there's a typo on the Page Name.
Says Judgment Blade, without the e in the middle, in-game.
If you saw "Judgement Blade" on Nexon's website, then know that it's not to be trusted.
Both judgment and judgement are valid words, which makes it even more confusing. Not sure which one they meant to use.
Spelled correctly or not. We follow what we see in game, and it will be spelled that way here unless/until it is changed in game.
Just like Doppleganger? Oh wait, they fixed it.
