Fixing Template

Okay, template is near finished. One hiccup though - if someone can take a look and fix where I went wrong that'd be great. All that needs to be done is fixing the limitations to show that elf and giant females can wear this.

I know many people didn't see it, and I can't blame you for it, but please, refrain from trying to use other equipment templates to create one for other pieces of equipment that may not already have information in it.

I can see where that's coming from, and I can try to avoid it in the future. I mainly got stuck with the limitations following a template from the DeadEiry project thing and one of the limitations showed, so I tried following another template from cloting with similar limitations to see if it would work (which it didn't). As for the information used in the equipment template, my main character has one of these outfits so all information is straight from what I see in-game.

it's kinda hard to see what it looks like with that character age. can we get a 17 y/o model?

Kizuurei (talk)12:53, 25 December 2012

Actually, can we get a blanket ban on images taken with a mini potion? Age 10 is already pushing the limits...

Oneris (talk)13:52, 25 December 2012

I agree. Age 10 is sometimes bothersome enough already. Tin Potions are just....no.

My character was age 10 o-o... How is it hard to see, I did full zoom and all parts are visible? Another alternative is clicking the image, if you can't see it then you probably need glasses.

It could just be the pose, but at your age, the large head obscures and clips straight through the neck part of the outfit. If you were any older, it most likely wouldn't have happened. And I needn't remind you of what happened to those Nuadha robe pictures. Overall, Age 10 and tin potions have a far higher chance of deforming the clothing.

Oneris (talk)14:31, 25 December 2012

Actually, I had worn the clothing at age 17 too. Also, I have no idea what the Nuadha robe pictures has to do with this o.o But what I'm trying to say is it didn't make any difference. I have an image if you want to see, although the clothing is dyed black. If you all want to ban age 10 characters modeling certain items then you will have a LOT of work to do, especially when it isn't needed.

I meant that your age-10 Nuadha robe pictures had a lot of clipping that wasn't present at age 17, and I'm sure that will also be the case for many other clothing, especially robes. I'm not asking to ban all age 10 characters since it is not always a problem, but it would be better for the wiki overall if it is discouraged and avoided when possible, especially on clothing that includes a hood, since the larger head size causes the hood to clip through the upper body.

I don't know about you guys but it looks fine to me regardless of the age. What matters is the outfit. My (M) pics were age 10 and they look alright.

I think another solution might be wearing an invisible weapon, such as a Tailoring Kit, that way, characters would have a neutral pose (And I remember something about leg positions in the Image Policy, too..) There are already people making GIFs for the poses anyway.

LittlesnowEU (talk)06:31, 26 December 2012

This right here. It is better to have the character with the "neutral" pose of standing straight, just as in the Male version of the Shamala Outfit, than it would be to have any pose, especially with Idle Poses from outfits.

Age 10 on some things (now that I look at the previous Nuadha Robe pictures [1]) is bad. Age 17 looks preferable, but might not always be required.
