As of March 13th, 2012, I would like to MAKE IT CLEAR that I do not do contributions on the wiki for vanity, but to help out in any way I can.
There have been past attacks which shouldn't even happen on the wiki. Let's keep it friendly!

In your about box you say something to the effect of "I help run the wiki" and I just wanted to request the you remove that. You certainly contribute to the wiki and you're welcome to say that, and I'm glad you're proud of it! But saying run gives the impression that you have some sort of official authority on the wiki and I don't want people to get that wrong impression, since we're then held accountable for your actions and I have no particular power to prescribe those actions.

Sorry, I know it's pedantic, but I hope you understand the concern. Thank you. o/

Really seecret? If i was going to "start something", it would have been when you first replaced it 2 years ago.

Please read this, as it explains the reason why your images were replaced.

Cropping...did you seriously just use that as a reason?

Please stop reverting. The main reason was to add both sides to show the differences, and your newer ones just seem to have been uploaded for the hell of it including no new reason to have replaced mine. :/

Yinato's images would be preferred than the previous version for the following reasons:

• Main part of the dress, yes it's peach, but the gradient makes it close to a white (which we do not want).
• An image taken with a black background would be preferred.
  • With the colors you've used, it kind of blends in with the background.
• The new version uploaded by Yinato also includes both sides now.

For the 3rd or 4th time...READ.THE.DAMN.LINK. I've already gotten the okay of an admin to replace your images with the ones I uploaded.

@Yinato There is no need to be rude to me, and yes I already read the whole chat before you asked me to, but it didn't really explain anything related to what the problem was.

@Kiyoura If these reasons were stated beforehand, I would have just backed off from the start, but since nobody did, I just figured they were replaced out of anger (or at least that's the emotion I'm getting from Yinato's tone of typing).

There's no need for me to be rude? I'm sorry, but didn't you just accuse me of uploading images just for the hell of it, other than to replace yours with mine? (A reason that you've been accused of countless times in the past). If you didn't want me to be "rude", then you should have asked for clarification on what I was referring to instead of starting a pointless revert war and making wild accusations. (once again, the same accusations that you faced.)

At the time meru posted that reply, the page had your pictures. So, in case you missed it, the colours on the dress you uploaded hid the details and blended.

Yinato you should at least point out the thread in question in your reversion comment before getting all pissy at her about it. It isn't a fair chance to expect her to troll recent changes constantly. I don't want to see this kind of behavior again. I hope you're cooled down by now.

Now I find your images for the lux cryst dress to have more pros, but "Cropping" isn't a reason to replace images. I mean unless it's that bad.

If the quality is decent, outline is off, colors show full details and aren't similar, not black/white, etc. you get the rest, It's acceptable to replace it. But Yinato's images didn't have bad cropping, nor does Lux Cryst dress have that many details to be seen at close up.

The main reason was for the 2 sides, since both sides have differences. The "Cropping" part meant specifically that not the full legs needed to be included, although that wasn't a main reason.

That still makes cropping a useless reason. It doesn't matter whether you include legs or not.

Well I'm sorry that it was such a big deal to add that as a second reason. Just getting really tired of being given an attitude for contributing, which is why I haven't been doing as much in the past year. I was getting nasty notes in-game for even trying to help, which nobody helping here should even have to deal with.

It's a big issue because you're basically replacing images for no reasons. 8I Which we do not support.

I get your point there, but my issue is simply "Cropping" as a reason.

That wasn't the only reason to replacement the first time, and I honestly felt I should have disregarded that afterwards, but there is no way for me to revert what I had typed in. But after seeing the real reasons that they were replaced, which wasn't told to me before this happened, I see WHY they were. I'm sure anyone who would have been in my shoes at the time would have been confused as well if they weren't informed on the reasons, but instead given an attitude for not even knowing why.

Yeah, but next time when someone reverts, ask them why first, instead of reverting back to yours. Some people just don't post why they do it and sometimes it's because they talked with the mods/admin before hand.

Seecret, in the future, if someone changes an image and you don't agree with it. Bring it up with them on their talk page first before reverting. If you don't get a reply in a reasonable amount of time then go ahead.

The ribbon on your summer 08 prem pictures are white. It shouldn't be that big of a deal since it's such a small part but you never know. xD;

If you look at the top of the ribbon you can see the real color, the shine just makes the bottom half of the ribbon look light. My sister just pointed that out to me when I showed her xD

Just wanted to say, shouldn't it be added under the wiki's image policy for showing off items in game that the head shouldn't be chopped off if it's an actual rule? Seems a bit confusing for someone who goes to read the policy, only for someone to replace their image for reasons not mentioned in the rules they were provided.

Not fighting over it or anything, just wondering if you know why it isn't/hasn't been added there yet. Policy says to show off the outfit and not the character in the outfit, so showing off the face of the character as a unstated rule seems a bit...wrongI guess.

The new mediawiki upgrade caused pages to be automatically categorized when files are missing and etc.

Although your page doesn't actually have broken image links, the template Template:CharacterInfobox has some flaws that leads pages using this template to be added to the category.

Hi Seecret, I was wondering if you didn't cut off parts of a character when you upload a pic..like your Andras wear and such. Cutting off only part of head is kind of distracting...I dunno if it's just me, but it's just like that some of the head is there, but the other half isn't, and it's just sdkfjsklejfkldjf. @_@;; Can you keep the whole head or just not have it D: Yeah. It's preferred that you have a head, so I keep half of it. Also, it was said by an admin that they'd rather have part of the head.

Because the details on an outfit aren't usually included in the head, but you still need to leave part of it so you can distinguish how big the outfit really is. Also if you have no head it's like a creepy mannequin xD. Another reason for this is why do you really need the whole head anyways, it's not like you need to show your characters face on a wiki, especially not for fame.

The head should not be cut off fully. Cutting off half the head to show your eyes or part of your eyes is acceptable, though. ^^

Full head is generally preferred, but if you can get better zoom by cutting off half the head, or you prefer only to show half the head for privacy reasons, then go ahead and do that.

Yea, exactly. I think the head isn't truly needed when taking an image of something since your taking the image of the item and not yourself, but then again you need at least some head so it doesn't look like a creepy mannequin doll, and people have to be able to see where it starts from the head.

So yeah, there's a variable that one can use to remove auto-categorization. I have no idea why they named it "Tip", however.
