Talk:Sword Art Online Event/Crystallite Collecting Event

I checked this when I got stuck mobs on my giant. The Complete Crytsalite Ingots dont spawn where enemies died. They just spawn a set distance from your char and dont poof. I finished the mission with about 50 seconds left after the next ingot spawned, and it completed successfully with 30 extra ingots, which I was then able to pick up all of.

Where the ingots spawn looks to be roughly 3 steps away, so roughly half the width of the street in dunbar between the healer house and the blacksmith shop. Idk how many "meters" that translates to, roughly 10 I would guess

I think it's referring to the general area where the slayers spawn, since they appear around you?

Did the event on my elf next, this screenshot of the place they dropped, shows pretty clearly that the ores drop in a circle, the slayers spawned all over the place, died all over the place, and were rarely in that circle.

EDIT: After doing the event a few more times, it looks like they just spawn in a circle around where you start in the mission.

If the wording bothers you that much you could always edit it.

I wanted to make sure I knew how it actually occurs first.

1. Talk to Lisbeth located next to Nerys in Dunbarton, and be prompted to start the Crystallite Collecting Mission.
   • Why aren't Lisbeth, Dunbarton, and Shadow Mission linked?
   • Mention on a sub bullet that the mission is fixed on basic and has to be soloed. Where it takes place could be mentioned but whatever.
2. Kirito will accompany you during the mission and will only attack the White Dragon.
   • It's called an Ice Dragon, not White Dragon.
3. It is not advised to attempt fighting the dragon as it cannot be attacked, but can still harm the player.
   • I would change "It is not advised to attempt fighting" to "Do not fight", since its pretty much common sense you shouldn't be fighting something you can't attack.
4. Kirito will accompany you during the mission and will only attack the White Dragon. 5 Snowfield Slayers will appear during the mission. Collecting 30 Cystallite Ingots will automatically complete the mission.
   • Shouldn't they all be sub bulleted under "Talk to Lisbeth located next to Nerys in Dunbarton, and be prompted to start the Crystallite Collecting Mission." ?
5. (Refining Success +2, %Blacksmithing Success +3% and Gathering Speed +5%)
   • This doesn't need to be mentioned here.
6. This quest can only be attempted once per day on each character.
   • 7:00 am, you do not get the Warmth of the Heart quest again, so that is slightly misleading; I would change "quest" to "Shadow Mission".

I was hoping someone would actually try to fix this stuff when I posted/uploaded this but whatever. Heres what I think.

The only thing not linked is Lisabeth. I don't know about you all but since this event is only going to last for a few months (and since these SAO characters are only going to be avalable/around during the event. It seems kinda pointless to make a page about them. Also they're not related to the game at all, they're just part of a cross over and nothing more.

A majority already know that the mission is soloable so mentioning that it has to be soloed is pretty redundant.

Its listed as White Dragon because there's already an Ice Dragon (Pet). That the the two are clearly different from each other.

I guess we can fix that.

Because its all list of steps in order to be taken to complete the event/quest.

Dunno who put that there since it should only be listed in the 2nd titles list.

Maybe 'event' would be better?

I have not done the collection mission since 7 AM PDT today, and Lisbeth is still telling me to come back tomorrow. Are we certain that the reset time is correct? (And yes, I've changed channels since 7 AM.)

   • I disagree. The one-time Event NPC Devon appeared in the Transformation Diary and hardly anyone knew who he was because we never made a page for him.

   • How do you know that, without looking into that Shadow Mission's page?

   • A) It could be written as [[White Dragon|Ice Dragon]]
   • B) Make event monster data for it.

Also, apparently Ice Dragon can hit Snowfield Slayers; they got frozen by that breath attack and then ran towards the dragon in an attempt to attack it.
