Intelligence Damage Formula
So I edited the Intelligence damage formula back to its original state, pre-G7. Why? Because that increased damage formula hasn't been implemented yet. I would know; with over 600 Int, I would have noticed any appreciable increase in magic damage the moment G7 finishing patching into my client. Don't worry, the "new" formula is still there, although the article has been corrected to inform any mages out there that the formula is coming soon but is not yet released.

- According to the old/current formula for Intelligence damage, I should be dealing roughly 23 extra damage with any given spell. Such a small difference is obviously hard to notice with advanced spells given that they deal massive amounts of damage already; in my testing with bolt spells against Tir Chonaill's Young Brown Foxes, my mastered Lightning Bolt (damage range 40-150) does roughly 170-175 damage, non-critical. If the new formula were in place my additional Intelligence damage should be approximately 43, not 23, which does not agree with the damage I am dealing.
- Incidentally, where did you find that "new" formula? I have hunted high and low for the altered formula and could never find it. Are you 100% sure it's accurate? It sure doesn't make much difference for all the Intelligence I have, according to the calculations. --Trigger, 7/28/09 2:25 AM CST
- Well my reference was clearly indicated. see http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/index.php?title=Status&diff=102198&oldid=100917. As well as reinforced by the JP Mabinogi Wiki - INT ダメージボーナス.--黄恒升 ☞ 评论 ☜ 08:42, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, so that's where it was hidden on JP wiki. (As I'm unable to read Japanese, my navigation abilities there are limited to Google Translate.) Thanks for the clarification. Would you happen to have a similar reference for the updated magic balance formula for G7? --Trigger, 7/28/09 1:59 PM CST
Magic Balance Formula
The Magic Balance section has been updated for G7.
There is still some ambiguity about the exact formula involved (translations of the formula are sketchy at best), so if anyone, after reviewing the original JP wiki page, thinks it should read differently, please speak up.
Thunder Mana Use
I'm still shocked that someone actually thought Thunder's mana use increased at higher ranks. Apparently the intelligence of the average Mabinogi player is lower than I ever thought, and that's saying something.
Article changed to correct this absurdly obvious blunder.
Balloon PvP
After adding hot-air balloon-based PvP to the Hot-Air Ballooning page, I decided it would probably be better placed on the PvP page and made the necessary move. The Ballooning page now contains a link to the PvP page instead. I made some edits to the PvP page while I was there and reorganized a bit.
Credit to Hungski of Ruairi for coming up with the idea for balloon PvP in our Ventrilo chatroom. The Balloon War of October 18 was a huge hit with the server. Good show mate, Aussie style.
Re: Magic Skills Name Changes
Done. Thanks for the notice, and for fixing all of the names. --Aramet (Talk) 15:55, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

Are you sure? From testing it doesn't seem to matter which head you hit, the door will open regardless.
In regards to the same edit, Eos367 is under the impression that the second round of heads simply determines the prize. Unless everyone in Mabi can just amazingly pick the "right" head every time that opens the door.
That's sorta my point :p
It regards Attribute Marbles being lumped. Convo starts here, and well...pretty much expanded to whether or not it should be separated. Though it is pretty much clear as day, I suppose there is a bit of misconception considering how it is worded in the official patch notes.
Just to let you know, that was a mistake I made while trying to add Event Monsters#Monster Summoning Urn, aka the old versions of the raid bosses. Sorry.
You forgot to specify which if any booby birds give more taming journal points. If all of them are equally on top, then you need to bold all three. If you're not sure, then put (?) after them.

Why did you add all the data around the monsters? When there is no need to parallel them to anything. Every character in a page still uses up data room and in the logs.
I'm going to assume that by "add all the data around the monsters" you're referring to my placing the single entries in dual-column list format. There's no reason for it other than improving the general look of the page by keeping entries left-aligned. It's not NECESSARY, no, but it does make things look better and is therefore justified in my opinion.
The page is already huge as it is; removing those dual-column lists isn't going to significantly improve the page's load time, and most of the categories that currently only have one entry are just lacking data at the moment (like the Snake category only having one snake in it right now when there are over a dozen distinct types that could be listed later on). Putting the list format in now saves time later and makes it easier for those who don't know much about wiki formatting.
Side by side comparison doesn't show you visual formatting as it would actually appear on the page. Without the list format, the single entries are center-aligned. With it, they are left-aligned, with space provided for right-hand entries later on.
For confirming what animal/monster counts towards what achievement go to Taming Journal, not Collection Journal. (Only remove the (?) if you have tested it and can confirm it counts towards the achievement.)
I have NO idea why you reverted that page edit...because it's completely relevant. It belongs on both pages, not just one.
Actually, why not just remove the contents of the Collection Journal page and just link to the relevant journal-specific pages? Maintaining accurate lists on fewer pages sounds like a good idea to me.
Well, we were going to put the Taming Journal page on the Collection Journal page under a spoiler tag when it was done but the original/main creator of the page seemingly abandoned the project in July... Actually, I think I'll put it on the page right now since the only page that currently links to it is Bandit.
Also, that first list isn't a list of what monsters are acceptable for the achievement, it's for what the achievement is called. (I don't even see why the rest of the "Includes" are listed there.) Guess I'll just replace it with the table, although it's incomplete.
I always wondered why your taming journal page was seemingly disconnected from the rest of the wiki.
If you have the rest of the journal images lying around somewhere I'd be happy to complete the table and start filling it in. I'm at 490/525 stars with the Conqueror title and I'd very much like a place to dump my information, as the wiki has precious little on taming.
