I have seen an avon shield that's clean with 16 durability, but that might be a misnomer...

Alright, some friends have told me they've gotten Gacha Avon Shields; there have also been many average Avon Shields around (16 durability) rather then the blacksmithed ones (18 durability).

Assuming you're in Tarlach or any other place affected by the mass duping that was going on during the Beginner dungeon glitch, It's safe to assume that those were probably already around before the gacha and are probably duped. Since the items come out with base stats once duped, and it being impossible for an avon shield to have base stats legitimately, yeah, they're just duped avon shields.

Not to sound Sysop-like but please refrain from mentioning hacking or anything similar on the wiki. If you really must talk about it go to a forum that allows discussion of it.

The avon shields actually DO come from the valentines box, my friend had actually gotten 2 of them. I am not sure about their stats but I know FOR SURE that he got them from it.

Actually, most Avon Shield are naturally Dark Red and Silver.

I know, but what I mean is the avon shields that are base durability. Since the blacksmithing skill automatically adds durability on top of the base, shouldn't it be impossible to craft one with base durability?

It's true, the two my friend got out of the boxes actually both came in dark red.

16 is the base durability for the normal item.

The day mabinogi is loved and adored everywhere and treated with at least the same respect as vindictus, then it shall be it. Also love the tagline for the gacha. Sick of seeing no new items in erinn. Yea... PAY FOR THEM.

All races can equip scythes. One of them is from the design contest, however their respective skill sets aren't released in any version of Mabinogi yet. (Since they're considered Two-Handed Scythes, they do not get bonuses for Sword Mastery, etc. Gotta wait for Scythe Mastery to come out.) So as of now, it's for the fashion ___s.
