Talk:Weather
Weather effects are applied to this game. Only 3 type of weather effect is applied (until generation 7) The weather are Sunny(normal), Cloudy and Raining. Only raining gives special effects.
The weather will be changed randomly, but for rain to occur, It must first turn cloudy only then it will turn to Raining. When it turn cloudy, it does not mean it will guarantee rain, as it will turn back to sunny sometime.
The effect of raining are increased production succession, increased maximum amount of harvest per item(trees,chicken egg etc etc) and Decreases duration of Campfire.
After sometime, the rain will stop and effect will be stopped until the next rain.

rain=music fail?
even though music playing is a life skill it seems to fail way more often when it rains instead of getting a bonus. most bards i,ve talked to agree. is this a bug, or is it something that is suposed to happen and just isnt listed when weatier effects are displayed on screen?Sozen Cratos Focker 06:07, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
Taillteann
Does Taillteann have its own weather system separate from Tir's and/or Dunby's?--Price 10:43, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
- I'm guessing the lack of response means no one knows? Well I speculate Taillteann was the same as Emain--they were both under a thunderstorm at the same time one day, though that's the ony thing I have to go by.--Price 13:01, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
Regarding Rano/Zardine/Courcle
I've never paid much attention to Rano/Courcle, but I noticed that when it's raining in Rano, it doesn't always equal rain in Zardine and vice versa. Confirmation about these three areas and whether their weather schedules are connected or not would be great, thanks.--Piamette 06:20, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
- I agree, it says on the link listed that it should be Level 1 rain in rano, but not true in zardine--Dtdsora- no page as of yet- u can make it urself 16:53, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
Dungeons
Bit late to add but it does ran in certain dungeons (Fido Confirmed Coil unconfirmed) Thou its not confirmed if its linked to rain in that area. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kittykun09 (talk • contribs) . Please always sign your comments with the button or by typing ~~~~!

Can anyone confirm that as of G18 Metus is no longer permanently raining? Well, it claims to be raining in the weather clock, but it doesn't appear visibly for me any more and it doesn't show up as a boost to life skills, so is it really raining?
I'm pretty sure Erinn has snow in December. I've only seen it once or twice though.
I have added that the numbers on the list correspond to the ones on Erinn Long Term Forecast- good for those who like to mine Flint/Fossils from the volcano
examples-
10 = Zardine
6 = Morva Aisle
11 = SMs
