Name Change?
Seems like this pet is referenced as the Siberian Tiger in the pack files. Should the name be changed? --Pleinair 18:03, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- Not until Nexon releases it, or gives a preview, etc. Best to just leave it like this for now. --Link 18:16, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- The client (TXT) file changes do have a pretty accurate prediction of what the name is going to be.--Hengsheng120·TALKCONTRIBS 18:46, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- You'd do well to remember that for the alchemy skills, the skill names were changed more than once resulting in the wiki articles being renamed and links needed to be repaired and such. Until it's actually going to be released here, leave as is I say.--Mystickskye 03:49, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
- The alchemy skills pages were created based on the xml files and not the Txt files that was translated much later.--Hengsheng120·TALKCONTRIBS 07:58, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
- Last I checked the names for the pets can be found in the xml files. Furthermore, my own investigations shows that this particular pet isn't named as Siberian Tiger after all (human error, how about that?), it's named as White Tiger (along with the White Tiger cub). The Siberian Tiger is a lesser variant of this pet (ala Lime Sprite and Rainbow Sprite) and this can be clearly seen through the differing stats in the files whereas the White Tiger mount in the files matches up to this pet.--Mystickskye 00:55, 14 May 2010 (UTC)

Yellow, not white?
In the packages, the pet image of a tiger was found, that looked really similar to this, but yellow. I also found the PMG but it does not have the "bag" thing that this one has. This was back when RM was just released btw

- Pretty sure that's for this. they'll probably add new pmgs. --κєνıи (»тαıĸ«) 17:34, 3 December 2010 (PST)
- It can't be. The size of the PMG was the same of the White Tiger Mount
- One thing I noticed was, in the teaser, there is no "armor" on the silhouette of the tiger. I simply assume back when the teaser was originally made by whoever, the tiger pet was not fully developed and released at the time of creation. Perhaps the files of whatever you are looking at are also "outdated" in a sense. I did hear someone once mention there were two kinds of these tiger mounts, but I never heard more of it. Also, aren't these color selectable? I think the only parts are the armor though, but I am not entirely sure. --Rusty 18:04, 3 December 2010 (PST)
- Ohwell, we'll see. --κєνıи (»тαıĸ«) 18:19, 3 December 2010 (PST)
- Well, they added a new video of the pet in action yesterday. View it here. The pet is indeed white (snow colored), and the video answered a question I had: if elves could perform mounted archery. The news post on their site also mentions the armor is color selectable, but not the tiger itself. As for the "yellow" tiger; we will just have to wait and see still. --Rusty 12:26, 7 December 2010 (PST)

Pet can attack while mounted on it; seats one person. | 6 | 07:30, 12 December 2010 |
Does this mean you can attack while mounted on it or it will attack while you're mounted on it? The way it seems is that a pet can attack while a pet is mounted on it, which doesn't seem too likely to me. Could someone kinda clear this up it be confuzzling. --\(°∀°)/ 10:50, 4 December 2010 (PST)
If you watch the teaser video, you can clearly see the person sitting on the mount while the mount attacks. I think while you are mounted on the pet, you control it directly (like you would movement wise any other pet) and when you attack while on it, the pet attacks in your stead. Of course, this brings up the issue: can elves do mounted archery? If you click, the pet would probably attack. Perhaps if they load their respective archery skills. Also, this new discussion layout is bleh. Says there are replies, yet when I click show reply, none appear (I'm on the wiki; I do not know if this connects to the forum in any way). :( If this has already been answered, my apologies.
This should answer any questions about the white tiger pet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBimi7cT-Bc
I know someone is going to ask the question (or mistakenly edit the wiki) so I'll mention it here. The Tiger mounts use the players stats (not sure the exact formula) while the player is mounted. So if you select Def/Smash/Counter, it's calculated from your damage. If you do magic, you and your pet have separate MP pools, and you can't stack from each others (eg you can't charge firebolt, and have the pet do the remaining 4 charges.)
Only elves can do archery from mounts, and it doesn't change with the tiger pet.
