How'd they get them?... The one from Taillteann's store have Giant-only tags.

The weilder said one of the Phoenix boxes. Only thing I can think of is that NA got the event early and Nexon didn't code out certian rewards, kr's was in march and their g16 was months before.

What I heard was that you could get them by creating a new Giant character and selecting the Warrior Destiny. It's the "basic weapon" being given to them at the beginning of the game. I haven't been able to test it out yet, but it would make sense, seeing as they used to get one of the other, current Knuckles (can't remember which one) under the same circumstances.

Tested that, yea they added raceless Bear Knuckles early.

There is a bug out, with these coming out from the Phoenix boxes, yes. But they can also be obtained as untranslated from a new giant character with the Warrior Destiny. Those have no restrictions and the same base stats as the Giant-Only knuckles.

I suggest we remove this thread and not mention it on the wiki as it is abusable.

This is the first I've heard of this...why is it implemented so early o.o...I know it was probably a mistake but this sort of screw up is a bit...far than the usual screw ups huh...?

Yeah, it was probably an accidental bug. But in my opinion, it shouldn't really need to be removed. People are already abusing it, but it's not really hurting the game itself. Nexon is eventually going to release them in shops for all races for the same price as the Giant-only knuckles anyway. And in-game, people are buying and or selling them for ridiculous prices, and that's no good either. |:

about the entire server knows now. anybody dumb enough to buy them forgot to look at the characters on the screen or chose to be antisocial. everybody knows they're free from new giant characters. i'd happened to have never turned my assist card into a character

Not sure if it can be considered a bug really anymore. Nexon gave the green light on them.

Nexon stated in their announcement that it was a bug.

Of course Nexon would know, it's all over the forums. But at least they didn't remove them, and told players that don't read the forums to watch out. C:

I can see a lot of raging if Nexon does that. :/ But I guess it depends on how far off G16 is.

Ideally, G16 would hit around June. But we will have to wait and see.

With a few exceptions, everything seems to come out every 3 to 4 months. Season 3 & 4 were delayed do to problems relating to the disruptive hacking. That is probably why the were released together.

G16 was added to Korea in January so it would make sense for it to reach NA in the summer at our current rate. But considering they merged S3 and S4, it is likely.

Nexon stated somewhere that now that they are caught up, generations should be about 2-3 months behind korea. Also, Sabina gave the green light to get the knuckles if you want them, they aren't going to remove them. She said to treat it as an unintended preview of g16.

That was from the Q&A and I'd like to point out that that has been disproved. Korea got G15 in June 2011. We got it in early Novemberish. Also, they got G16 in January. It is not April and we just got G15S3/4. Also, Sabina said we'd get Partners in October. April and we still don't have them. Nexon NA isn't exactly a reliable source.

It was never guaranteed that we would get Partners in December (not October), Sabina said they were hoping to try and get permission from KR to get them released to NA by then, but to not place bets on it happening.

Also, Korea got G15 in August 2011.

Must've been thinking of G14S4, (around the time that specific live chat was) which also came really late in NA.

Our G15S3/4 was delayed a lot, because of all the crap going on in the game these past few months.

Granted, there's not much they can do for players that have already bought them for odd prices. I just gave 2 pairs away to friends for free. They posted a scam alert on the main page, and if they wanted to take them out, they would have by now as they did with Hebona, Nuadha robes and Rosemary gloves. Nexon has no reason to take them out, since they're not hurting anything, or anyone hopefully since they posted the warning. My guess is now that they're out, I won't be surprised if they die down between now and when G16 is finally released. Some players might play around with them for a while, get bored, and go back to their old ways until Martial Arts comes out. owo
