Nekojima Fish and Fish Dishes

Nekojima Fish and Fish Dishes

You can fish up Nekojima exclusive fish using the event bait, Salmon, Capelin, etc. And the recipes work.

But the dishes are untranslated, give no stats, and max out your body weight when eaten.

Not sure if that's worth noting, but I just found that out, heh.

They max out your body weight just by eating 1 of them? LOL.

Weight, Upper, AND Lower.

So eat it if you wanna get max body size REAL fast, lol.

Iyasenu (talk)15:40, 12 June 2013

The dishes do not max out your body size if you have a high enough Stamina pool. The dishes just have a high food recovery.

Wow, just how much hunger do they regen?

I mean, I was a bit hungry, with about 700 stam, and it made me explode as if I'd eaten 10 chocolates right after each other, haha!

Iyasenu (talk)17:14, 12 June 2013

I ate them with 50% hunger (802 stamina). I was fine afterwards.

Kiyoura (talk)17:21, 12 June 2013

Ah I just noticed that you added the Hunger info on each of the dishes.

Wow that is a LOT of hunger restored, haha.

I was just not hungry enough to not gain a ton of weight from all that recovery.

Alright that clears up that. I wonder if they're supposed to be so filling. Or if they're supposed to not have any stat buff.

Iyasenu (talk)17:27, 12 June 2013

They work similarly to the Silver Vine Tea (Also from Nekojima). But the effects only take place if you eat over 100%.

I'm just curious, but do these dishes normally act like this in JP Mabi where they're normally available, or is it just like this here because they weren't really supposed to be makeable?

Oh, but that's probably something that can't really be answered definitely, can it?

Iyasenu (talk)18:38, 12 June 2013

"do these dishes normally act like this in JP Mabi where they're normally available"

this can be answered relatively safely by looking at their entries in the JP wiki, which i believe it has not been specifically requested that we not list info from there here

Just a minor question, is there any way to make the nekojima fish or dishes count towards fishing journal, cooking journal, or either exploration weapons? (It might effect the weapons without a visible entry.)

Ya, that's what I'm asking, thanks for translating my derpiness. x .x
