Disposition Gain for Remaining Summoned?

Disposition Gain for Remaining Summoned?

Sometimes I notice my partners gaining one disposition point without any sort of input on my end after they remain summoned for a prolonged period of time (usually while I'm attempting to do the harder quests).

For example, today, my partner gave me a quest to deliver 20 silver ingots. Normally, I'd scoff at this kind of request, but since I had nearly full summon time, I thought I'd be able to do it if I do metallurgy without stopping and perhaps get a huge lucky finish (I did, but for copper >>;). While I was doing this. I constantly checked on her status and disposition to make sure she didn't lose any for starving. Around the "110-100 min. remaining" mark her disposition changed, but it was increased by one point, to my surprise. Same thing happen at around "50 min. remaining."

From what I can gather it seems that for roughly every hour they remained summoned, they gain one disposition point for just being out.

Has anyone else looked into this yet? Like whether or not this is a glitch in the system or if it has been pointed out by foreign players who've had partners for a while.

After the second day of keeping watch on this passive disposition gain, I can confirm that the increase occurs only by keeping them summoned in one session as opposed to being based on how much summoning time was used overall in the day. Summoning her during the afternoon for about 10-20 minutes, desummoning her, and then summoning her again later at the midnight to see how it would affect the increases resulted at around 90 min. summoning time remaining and around 40 min. summoning time remaining.

Another session timing the increases should be enough to warrant adding it to the table, unless someone else comes in before I do so saying this isn't intentional.

Alright. I can confirm that disposition increases every 60 consecutive minutes. I summoned my maid with the full 180 minutes of summoning time and gained disposition at the 120 and 60 min. remaining marks.

Since I'm guessing the lack of responses means no one knows whether or not this is on purpose (since it wasn't listed as a method of disposition gain in Mabidata), I'm just going to throw this in the table.

Doesn't sound like something you could do on accident... lol.

I attempted this yesterday.... Left my maid out... Forgot to feed it... QQ

Well, here's the thing; we know that the stress meter seems to be glitchy, so it's possible that disposition meter is, too, even if the hypothetical glitch in this case would be beneficial rather than detrimental. I just wanted to make sure since no one has said anything about this until now.

Okay, new information. My maid was at 131 disposition, and rather than gain a point by having her summoned for 60 minutes, I lost a point and it went down to 130 instead.

New theory: Rather than a flat-out bonus, keeping a partner summoned is an action that slowly adds or subtracts favor points in order to return the maid's disposition to its initial value of 120 (which was pegged down to zero with their first summon).

Once again, I would like some help testing this out. I need someone with a partner below 120 disposition and someone with a partner above 120 disposition (I'll do it again if necessary, but it's a good idea to verify it with a different user and partner).

However, if possible, someone with a partner at exactly 120 would be ideal. If the partner at 120 were to remained summoned for 60 straight minutes and see no disposition increase or decrease, then that will confirm the theory by itself and eliminate the need for the other two partners to go through their tests more than once.

And someone else can do the TL;DR stuff. I have no idea how I can possibly make that shorter without taking out necessary details. >>;;

Are you sure you didnt lose 2 to hunger and then gained 1 back for summon? lol

I'm sure. I desummoned after using up 63 minutes of summoning time. Before this, I fed her a slice of meat when her hunger hit 65% Hunger is currently 80%. Not to mention that I wasn't idling with her. The moment hunger hits at 55% and the favor loss and stress gains are initiated, your partner will always make a comment on how you're letting him/her starve.

Disposition stayed at 120 from 180min summon time to 113min time left for my maid.

Trinhrich14:35, 30 July 2012

Thank you so much, Trinhrich. That almost proves my theory.

We still need data from partners below and above 120, though now not just for testing out my hypothesis, but to add credibility to everything I've said in this entire thread as well, since I just realized that with the exception of Trinhrich's input, all information on this passive disposition change is a result of my own independent research alone, and thus has questionable credibility until others examine it as well. Kevin/Ikkisuki came close to that by admitting to trying, but ended up with an additional blunder of allowing his partner to starve by accident, inadvertently obscuring what he had gained. If a few people can quickly admit to trying what I said in this thread and observing it work, that will be enough.

I will be testing the effects of a 60 minute summon session, my maid is currently disposition 99, stress 0, hunger levels are between 90% and 100%.

What disposition exactly is required to marry your partner

Grainvon05:30, 2 August 2012

After 60 minutes of being summoned my partner gained 1 disposition point

Grainvon05:48, 2 August 2012

I'm going to test this on my butler having him protect a personal shop so he wouldn't lose summon time and see if it'll work. I'll also test my maids and butler on other characters who I don't care if they lose disposition in case I accidentally starve them.

After an hour my butler went from 54 to 55 while summoned to protect my personal shop. I was watching the game for a minute before it would have been an hour and it didn't show the green text like it normally would after giving a gift or summoning for the first time that day. Regardless this is a way to earn disposition without losing summoning time as long as you have a lot of food and can check back every once in a while.

The video itself is still being processed at the time of this post, but here's video proof of disposition decreasing while summoned when it is above 120, for those who might want/need it (lolprobablynoone). I say this in the description, but I apologize for leaving my music on during recording. Why the recording program built in Mabi records noise from all other programs is beyond me. XP
