Partner Quest Glitch

Talked to my butler, said grant favor and he was like ... I'd like to hunt some monsters or something along those lines said the quest will be deleted if the summon is cancelled but I never got a quest. Re-summoned and it didn't give me the option to grant favor. Just kind of putting this out there.

Happened to me once. No idea why.

It's happened to me a few times as well with a few quests that were supposed to be Shadow Mission runs. I theorized to myself it might of happened because I was speedclicking through dialogue I've already seen before, and exited the conversation before the owl could fly by. So I waited for the owl to actually deliver the quest scroll and I haven't gotten glitched like this since. However this doesn't proved anything until I, or someone else willing to give up a quest for a day, consciously speedclicks on purpose in order to replicate the glitch.

Hmm i attempted that speed click u mentioned on 2 characters yet i did not get that glitch either time it may be something else but we maybe we should test the speed click thing a bit more since only 2 attempts is such a small sample size

For whatever reason I can never speed click through fast enough when I'm tried testing it. However when I've speed clicked even though the owl came in time I wouldn't be able to read the quest. The title and objectives just show up as boxes.

My brother got an untranslated quest...unfortunately it auto gave up the quest after viewing it. It seems like there's "invalid" quests that don't get picked up. I don't know what quest it was, and nor does my bro. That might be the reason why you don't get a quest.

Okay, then it's probably safe to say that speedclicking is not the problem.

At this point I'm thinking that this is probably something that we can not willingly replicate. If anything, it's probably because Nexon botched the coding for some of the quests. There are quite a bit.

30 Gray Dire Wolves? That's impossible to complete...

Speed clicking could still be the problem I just have a good internet connection right now,so the owl always comes before I can finish the chat. It has only come up untranslated if I speed click though, I think the game just tries to rush it so much it can't translate. I'd say just be careful not to speed click and that may at least help until we find another actual solution.

Wait, an owl gives you a quest right? Did you do it in-doors?

It think it may have came up untranslated because it it was probably a mob that either didn't get translated properly, or...it's a bugged mission o-o? I dunno yet...I mean I still randomly get untranslated Theater missions from time to time (precursor to more missions?)

Also, when I clicked through at a normal speed it came out with a normal quest. I can keep trying to test it I have quite a few characters.

When I did it inside and speed clicked it still came in untranslated.

Yeah, location isn't the issue. I've been starting all my partner quests outside, and still had those two unreceived quests.
