Just A heads up I already nearly finish that [1] for monsters and [2]for NPC's unfortunately since it's a game-file rip I don't think we can use it on the main wiki still it may be useful for personal reference.

I think we're allowed to use data harvested from the game, just not that from the test server and no copy/pasting.

Well the data is kinda copied from the JP files and pasted into a mabitable. But yeah it's processed to such an extent the actual XML is no longer visible.
As long as an admin gives the green light guess I can keep my work...
And yes I've been aware of both Nexon's and the Wiki's policy of anti test server info sharing for awhile you'd be surprised just how many times people have been scolded for leeking info from the test server...

I wouldn't take my advice as a green light. You should ask some of the high up admins first.

Ah I will see to that.
Any news on why this policy was implemented? I mean I'd hate to see 1000's of page brought down just because a small bit of game file XML is visible...
also things like weapon splash data would be near impossible to get without the use of game files...

No idea.

The pages probably wont be brought down, although it will need to converted into a form we're allowed to use, and remove the info we're not (apparently, we can't have the IDs displayed. Why? no idea. Not like you can even do anything with the IDs). Chances are, they'll be put back into key=value form.

It's truly sad to see all your everyone's hard work being undone but I guess these thing will happen I'll do what I can to convert all the pages over to the whatever the newest template is. I hope to see-ya again in the future this wiki really wouldn't be the same place without ya...

Maybe we should just use Laden's old work? It's a lot more complete and a lot less work.
