DevCAT Logic is really really odd...

What's odd about that logic? How many salesmen in the real world would know how to fix half the stuff they sell?

I think he means why they would have two shops that sell the same things except one shop has one item that's clearly superior for the same price.

I honestly don't know, I don't take any business classes. But shouldn't salesmen at least know about some things about their products or something?

Knowing about is not the same as knowing how.

You can know what your computer's specs, but that doesn't necessarily mean you know how to build or repair one.
