Different editors probably. It'd be funny if it linked to Rian lol. Triona is definitely not a real sister but if it's talking about her contextually it may have been "she was like a sister to me". I don't really remember, though.

She may have been to him, however he didn't lose her to Esras. Esras died before her, heh. Everything points back to Rian so it was definitely a mistake on whoever was responsible for translating the script's part. O.o

Either way, the sentence totally threw me off. Should a footnote to indicate that it's an text error be placed in the trivia tag?

Typically you indicate these sorts of errors with a <sup>[sic]</sup> after the issue (sister) and you can do a MouseoverBox if you want, like {{MouseoverBox|<sup>[sic]</sup>|brother}}.

If it's mentioning Esras then I definitely agree it means Rian, so it probably should link to Rian...
