If "sister" has been acknowledged as a text error, why does it link to Triona? Should the link be removed?

Different editors probably. It'd be funny if it linked to Rian lol. Triona is definitely not a real sister but if it's talking about her contextually it may have been "she was like a sister to me". I don't really remember, though.

She may have been to him, however he didn't lose her to Esras. Esras died before her, heh. Everything points back to Rian so it was definitely a mistake on whoever was responsible for translating the script's part. O.o

Typically you indicate these sorts of errors with a ^[sic] after the issue (sister) and you can do a MouseoverBox if you want, like {{MouseoverBox|^[sic]|brother}}.

If it's mentioning Esras then I definitely agree it means Rian, so it probably should link to Rian...

What would happen if one were to complete a Saga 2 Episode before completing Saga 1 daily? Would the bonus effect remain or disappear?

EDIT: Completed a Saga 2 Episode 2 and the Saga 1 dailies were still highlighted.

Nexon seems to acknowledge G19 as Chapter 6 already, and we know where chapter 4 ended. So on the front page, can't the saga be noted as Chapter 5?

I don't think they officially said Saga = Chapter 5. But I'd write it as "The Saga / Chapter 5"

I thought it was discussed somewhere that there would be more sagas after Iria? If so, wouldn't the episode page names kinda conflict/become ambiguous?

Mass text-replace after we get the first signs of another Saga from Korea? I don't think there's any storyline coming with the Dream update though I could be wrong.

They plan on adding more episodes pertaining to Iria, no evidence of another Saga or if it is a separate tab, if it will be called Saga (or Drama). Lets wait until they release another Drama/Saga to worry about renaming the Saga again.

I figured the Saga wasn't over since Ruairi and the Cessair are still around. But Young Tarlach in Uladh (right next to Berched if I'm not mistaken) gives me the impression they're moving their plans to Uladh. Plus we're still missing Tory Ravine.

Reviving this thread. So korea released 7 new episodes called "The Drama: Iria 2" (where the first one was also called "The Drama: Iria" and was later renamed "The Saga: Iria" in NA).
We may want to do this later when it actually does come out, but currently, the episode pages are named like:

• The Saga: Episode 1 - Fate's Origin: The Demon

Which would be conflicting unless NA decides to call the second one "The Drama: Iria" instead of "The Saga: Iria 2".

What I suggest is renaming them to something like "Iria: Episode 1 - Fate's Origin: The Demon", where "The Saga:" is replaced with "Iria:". If the second update is called "The Saga: Iria 2", then those episodes would start with "Iria 2:"

Either way, this would cause conflict in all scenarios unless the new saga/drama/whatever doesn't start with "The Saga" in its name. (Or if they decide to use a term other than Episode for the second quest chain, but it would still be confusing for the wiki readers.)

I found out a bug. When fighting Cessair's Heart, if you kille her while mounted on a pet using archery (so this happens to elves) sh will disappear, but the Shadow Mission won't go on, and so you'll be forced to exit and redo it again. I had a female elf on a Cosmic Stallion. Can anyone confirm they get the same bug with these conditions?

Do they even have a mascot? As far as I know they don't, so it may just be an add for the skills.

They have a mascot, they just don't have as much in-depth detail on the character's background. Also, the treasure hunter's final design was still being determined when we first saw her, he was originally a female elf. Korea did say that there will be a new storyline featuring the three heroes, and master chef and treasure hunter will also make "an appearance", implying they aren't as important but are still notable. Lets just wait and see what happens before setting any judgements in stone.

This could be me but it looks like they used a Milletian as a model for Treasure Hunter's mascot.

Didn't they do that for all the heroes? Using a player character model as opposed to a nao-esque model? Except in Master Chef's unique case, but the female version uses a female giant.

Maybe in a nice chart or box or something...do not included daily bonus though.

It would have to be table, so it includes different difficulties. And we'd also need to compare different episodes on a central page.

Today, ALL TEN episodes were marked for daily. Isn't it supposed to be just two?

Probably on weekdays there are 2 consecutive episodes marked as daily (1&2 for Monday, 3&4 for Tuesday, etc.) and on weekends all of them are counted as daily to help people that can play only on weekends and to have easy formula for determining dailies on any given day.

Itachin's hypothesis seems reasonable, but lets wait until we can confirm after a week to say anything on the page.

What were the dailies on Wednesday? I missed that.

Side question: would it be possible to add a daily episodes table to the main page like what's currently there for shadow missions?

While we're on the discussion of template, if what Itachin says turns out to be true, is it possible to have the template automatically re-orient itself to that day's dailies without the need of us touching it every day?

At minimum, if it not being automatic, it should be possible to have us manaully write the day of the week in the template, or at the beginning of each month say things like "the 29th will be a thursday" and it'll just read off the shadow missions template like that.

Imo, such an addition to the template is useless, so... have fun.

Wherever we put them, the spawn pattern notes should match the format of the dungeon spawn pattern details on dungeon pages.

No evidence it is permanent, no evidence to think otherwise either. Guess we'd just have to wait and see if they ever remove them, which I doubt they would.

What did they do in KR and JP, after all 10 episodes were released?

JP didn't have saga boxes, and KR's system was completely different. Let me quote a conversation:

Kapra: In KR, each episode of G18 had a chance for three different demonics, not just 1, and episode 5~10 had a chance of a rare weapon like black mask staff.
Kapra: BUT in KR, you could get crappy rewards like 20 SP 30s, and you had to pay nx to redo an episode, not gold.
Kapra: In JP, E1-10 ONLY gave 20 AP first time you did it, repeating gets you nothing
Kapra: JP got these weapons in a gachapon
Kapra: In NA, E1~10 eachs has 1 demonic, 1 medal, and a saga coupon. You get 20+1.2 AP first time you do it plus a gaurneteed 1.2 AP each repeat, repeating costs gold, not nx. Andif you do all 10 episodes, you get another 100 AP and a battle pegasus pet

It should be permanent, what are you saying? You get the transformation coin and a demonic weapons, but they are rare. Mostly you get the saga viewing coupons and fixed 12 AP coupons I think or 10 idk. But if you do get a demonic weapon or a NPC transformation coin. They are yours permanently for keeps and you can either use it or sell them at high good price. Neat isn't it?!

And generally about the boxes as I didn't quite read the headings clearly, well the EP# boxes are permanent, but you get them once a day. So it's daily. Now idk if you can get all the other boxes on the same days by completing other episodes of G18, that's what I'm heavily curious about.

Well yes of course, that wasn't in question at all? He was asking if they plan to do a dick move and remove the episode boxes after the saga is over (I mean, japan already did an even worse move, as I previously pointed out).

where should we add missing npc with saga quest active? npc like Interim Engineer , hector are missing when saga episode are being watched.

Probably both this page and the Episode's page.

It's most relevant on the npc's page, and should also be mentioned in the details of the specific quests where they disappear or reappear, and in a warning near the top of the page, probably just above the NPC table(outside the spoiler box if we're keeping those).

Really? Because I redid and finished Episode 1 and I got a box right before Episode 2 started, then I did E2 and I got a box from there.

Maybe it resets at 6PM on fridays, too? Because I did E2 first then E1 yesterday, and I didn't get a reward for E1. Today I'm trying to do E1 first then E2, see if E2 gives a reward.

Ditto. I'm definitely sure it resets at 6PM unless, Infodude, when you did E1 before 6PM then did E2 after 6PM, did you get the E2 reward box or ONLY the saga completion box? It might also be that you have a 100% chance of getting both first tiem you do it, regardless of day.

I got both the E2 and Saga Box.

I redid and finished EP1 right after EP2 was released, then began and finished EP2, and got both Saga Boxes.

Then most likely, it's that first time you do it, your guaranteed to get an episode box as well, even if you already did an episode before. That being said, next Friday, do either E1 or E2 before E3 to get the most rewards.

Actually, now that I think of it, this may have been a glitch. Has anyone tested if it was changed after this last bug fix maint?

I'll run both later, but it would make sense if this weren't a bug. I mean, it'd make little sense if you were able to get 10 Saga Viewing Coupons a day once all 10 episodes come out. 10 Nao stones a day.. 3 dyes a day.. etc.. Doesn't seem very nexon to give out stuff like that.

Okay I'm very curious about the Episode (#) boxes, do you really get them once a day? For instance if I finished G18 part 6 and got the EP6 boxes then I do G18 part 5... Will I get the EP5 box on the same day??? That is my absolute question of curiosity there. That bothers me since it said that you can only obtain one EP box a day. I recalled doing G18 part 2 and then redo G18 part 1 to se if I can get two boxes on same day, but I only got EP2 box. So I received only one box and not the box from completing G18 part 1.

If it is the first time doing G18E6 today, you will get the E6 box. Afterwards, you will not get any other Saga EP box UNLESS it is the FIRST TIME playing the episode.

Well I already did Episode 7 for G18 and got the Ep7 box. I'm asking is if I do other episodes will I get another EP# box from finishing the others??? On the same day.

Here's the Dealio:

• You get one box per day unless its the first time you finished it. Example: If you redo Episode 5, you get an Episode 5 box, and if you start and finish Episode 6 on the same day, you get an Episode 6 Box.
• You only get one box a day for redoes. Example: If you redo Episode 5, you get an Episode 5 box, but if you redo Episode 6 on the same day, you do not get an Episode 6 box.

If you transclude (which would probably happen if all episodes are merged) and want to link to a specific quest, you could link to the page which the quest is on, rather than the entire generation page.

Also, just to clarify something, you don't even have to do the episodes in order, you can do them at the same time too, I believe. It's just that all ten require Shamala and Nightmare to be completed and not all ten episodes are released at once.

You know...3 quests hardly sums up "full scale" e-e EP1 was rather short since most of the time you do mroe talking than fighting...and a lot of gathering...oh god...the tails...*sees alexina smeared bleach* Sorry you had to fail D:!

EP2 was straight out short...too short that I did a re run (for exp...to hell with the box for EP2) and after confronting those....god awful lichs...Oh no, the lichs, STAY AWAY D: *consumed by lich mob* ...it only took around an hour...are you sure these things get...Longer...?

I agree, these were surprisingly short, people said they were longer. But I still think they each deserve their own page. But transclusion is still fine in my opinion.

Maybe at some point they will get longer, since its 10 episodes and 1 sidestory. Yeah. lets keep them separate.

Well G18 cuts it down to short episodes instead because, doing big sets of G18 in one big generations is going to be tedious! So they simply made it short. But they added EP# box and once you finished up the episodes on first time you get the AP box. Neat I say. I'm happy about it. And the EP# box resets around 7:00 AM PDT/PST daily.

So far, the generation pages have been named "Generation ##: officialName", and the official name is The Saga: Iria, so if we're to keep the current naming pattern and use the exact official name, then it's "Generation 18: The Saga: Iria".

Yea, the patches page sections separate the gen # from the name with hyphens. Don't change g18 on that page unless you're going to redo the entire page for the new style.

There is consistency. It's consistently version A in page titles, and consistently version B on that page's subsection titles.
