Question

Could you tell me how to upload Idle poses? my friends are asking me to upload the Flight attendant pose and I've been trying all night but I just can't figure it out. Is there a special program I need?

Personally, I use gifcam to record gifs, but I don't think its quality would be suitable for wiki (file size should be small though).

The in-game recorder can't be used for .gifs?

.avi ≠ .gif

besides...".gif" is an file extension for images. You could probably convert a part of an avi into a gif though with software, but it wouldn't look as good a quality sometimes due to compression.

He probably did a timelapse, a series of images taken a long period of time, threw it in some animation software like photoshop and created a gif. I think kev is the only one here that can make the gifs to make look as it appears in-game, and with real time animations so it doesn't look weird. I mean, look at Chain Cylinder's gif quailty and compare to any of the outfits with an idle pose that Kev did.

I use Fraps + Photoshop to create the gifs. I simply start recording at a point where I can easily identify when the animation restarts, and record until I see that frame again. Then I import it into Photoshop, crop, and cut off all the unnecessary frames to give it a smooth transition.

I would not recommend using gif-creating programs or the ingame recorder, as they usually crap up the quality quite badly.

Also make sure to resize your gif scaled to a height of 150px, otherwise your gif will not animate on the equipment pages because large gifs don't animate on the wiki if they have to be resized by the wiki software.
