A tiny(?) request

You probably are asking from the some random source, probably my userpage, regarding skill icons. Yes, I will try to make skill icons for existing skills, whether it be on a whim or from free time. No, this is not for making a custom skill icon for your user page, nor will I do such a thing.

I know you're busy with other stuff now, but I was wondering...

Now that we have the enlarged, 42x42 skill icons, if you could maybe create some new icons for the 'unofficial' icons that we have to match a bit more with the new ones.

O-o you need to watch anime with lots of laser impacts...on some it does this weird ripple like effect before or at the point of impact...dat logic.

Hey uh, there's no icon for all of Master Lich's, Grim Reaper's, Bran's, and Merrow's, and maybe a few more skills. Mind adding icons for them? Thanks in advance.

How do you find the skills for those monsters? o-o Is it possible to view their skills after you trans into them?

You can't. All of them except Monster Stomp are made-up.

Oh. How would icons be made for them then? D: Do you just randomly create one?

I'm still alive...all you had to do was ask o.o. as far as creation, i just...umm...made them up to fit the skill? o-o As far as Bewilder, I have no idea how to represent that as an actual skill icon.

You're welcome to do it any time actually o.o I have been busy with personal things @@ and not to mention starting from ground zero is harsh enough with my recent bans and all. A sporadic amount of NX was recently billed to me then suddenly it was spent and more was charged for some reason. I got a feeling someone got a hold of my account and well..bought gachapons and such. Already sent a ticket for an appeal and what not...now it's a matter of time.

Wow that's ridiculous. Did they charge with cc or paypal? If they charged with paypal you can appeal for a refund if it was within 30 days. That won't help your chances of getting your account back with Nexon, but I highly doubt Nexon will refund you. :x

It's credit card from the looks of the charges. I already tried to persuade them but I get a generic message about overflow and such. Just a matter of time for them to track the IP of the transaction since I sent them my own IP and a fairly good description on what went down and who did what. At this point, it's all about that waiting game...personally I don't mind that I'm waiting, but the fact that I lost a rather nice amount of stuff, especially the Chang'e Winged Clothes I've wanted since G7...I'm not quite sure how to react. Luckily I did, however, bound my stuff with those scrolls that lock equips. no worries there. but getting back on to find stuff missing would be devastating. ahh well. Starting from scratch, I'm doing okay.

Question...Should I make those skills of their respective category (Red Combat, Blue Magic,...etc) or just use another box color?

I'm being stupid lol...but uhh what attributes (i.e. what ping) do those have o-o?

Preferably, making the breath attack icons look similar to Ice/Fire/Thunder Breath's icon.

I'd say keep them in their respective category. Stomp is lumped into Combat.

I haven't fought the Guardians in a long time, but Merrow's are magic since Somersault Kick does stop her from using it. I'm guessing Breaths are magic too since the Dragon Pet's Breaths are.

And with the introduction of Belisha, you have two more skill icons to make. Though, I don't know what the names of her skills are...

Shockwave is just shockwave. The other one...ffffffffffffff--

Her shockwave is like regular shockwave?

Its not, she spams it like 5 times at once.

A single skill executed 5 times in succession. either that or it's simply shockwave without a cooldown.

I think its all in one skill. She's floating when she executes the skill and there's no delay in between shockwaves.

In any case, we need the names of both of them...

I have a suggestion for her other one: use her decapitated evil head with little ghoulish spirits things floating around. :P

To be honest, I couldn't tell what those were. I could only tell after zooming in that the ogre attack was a broken shield, but I have no idea what the shockwave one is. They're too flashy to tell what's going on in my opinion.

The shockwave one is supposed to be Bran's fist. But I agree with you, I can barely see them...

I could tone Bran's Shockwave more. As far as Frost Blade, throw me some brain storming ideas. I did them on a whim and wasn't thoroughly thinking.

Also, blue on blue is hard to work with :s...so that's why I changed Bran's Shockwave a second time. removed the lightning bolt to see the fist on Bran's Shockwave. As far as Frost Blade, I think the idea of nothing being able defend it was why I made a broken shield...hmm...

Bran's attack kind of looks like a giant rock crashing rather than a fist. . . For the Snowfield one, how about one of the Snowfield Slayer's weapons being involved?

Well the frost blade is in "Midswing" so that's why it lookts the way it does. I was gonna screen cap and make a couple renders of the Snowfield slayer weapons in a bit. Still fiddling with frost blade.

Now as far as Bran's Shockwave, that is a stone fist of a stock image a friend of mine had. Not to mention shrinking it down kinda made the details distorted. a 42x42 space isn't a lot to work with. Plus I was kinda basing it on , only with a fist and added effects (cause reusing effects feels weak imo :x)

I'm fine with the shield breaking, since it does half defense/protection for a short while.

I still think I need to use the "actual" weapon.

I don't mind the use of the shield, a shield makes sense, it's just hard to tell it is a shield.

Oh...took me a while to wrap my head around that...in the middle of the renders. Should I use the Axe or the Giant Ice Cleaver thingy...

Axe would be more distinct, an Ice club thing would be harder to tell what is.

That ice club is a sword.

Technically it's not either, cleavers are cooking knives, though this cleaver is half club.

I'm more of a swords person, but I don't like that fuzz over it. Go with the axe, like you did with Axe Throwing.

I'd say the axe, the knife has no clear handle and only one side of it looks like a cleaver, the axe would be more likely to be instantly identifiable.

Now with 100% Axe crushing.
