Fragment of a discussion from User talk:Snowie

I don't think there are any others at the moment, so I don't think we have much of a choice... (I also haven't seen any effects from the colors)

Angevon does, but she seems to be busy. Also, I'm building something that'll have the data readily copy/pastable so that the wiki can stay up to date without inaccuracies (and me being here).

Colors isn't used yet because I was demoted before I got to it, but it was supposed to be used to replace the dye template's 'Dye Type' part for accuracy. I'll probably get to fixing that up later, whenever I get to it.

Maybe tomorrow, during my break in between my classes.
And if I want to get to school... I should go to sleep. Goodnight ^^

So basically, making templates for equipment that is currently missing is a waste of time at the moment? (And I kinda made this page because I didn't find any documentation on StyleEquip.)

Prooobably, if my work takes off. I hope to get it mostly complete before the vocaloid patch, so people don't go insane over missing information. I doubt I'll get it done by then, though.
Noooow good night.

+ updating the documentation was one of my many to-dos. Too much to-do.

Eeeh. Nevermind. Changing up of the dye template would require moving all the parts information into the data page, which is too much work, especially right after I had just finished fixing up all the equipment pages.

I guess you could disregard the color fields, but I would still recommended not to, in case it is implemented in the future.

Alright then, I'll just take a look at what kind of parts you gave what number and follow that example, for now.

Well, it seems I got it to work while also removing the load of work by transcluding another template within the template, so the color fields are of use now.

Okay that looks simple enough to understand. If there's no Part B/C for example or something is not dyeable, it's just code 0?

LittlesnowEU (talk)01:55, 28 March 2013

Yes, by definition, 0 is an undyable part, but any number other than those listed in the switch results in undyable (since dyeing of those parts is not yet available, e.g. wood dye).
