Is it okay for me to delete this? http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/File:Amm634.png
The templates do work on user pages (and every other page), but you are using them wrong. Normally you create an alternate page with "{{{format}}}" for the template to be used on multiple pages. Then you, on another page, write "{{Insert Template Name A|format=Insert Template Name B}}". However, since it is going to only be used on your user page, I suggest you rewrite the coding you used before and replace "{{{{{format}}}" with "{{StyleMonster". Hope that helps.
holy crap are you like watching peoples user pages for change? lol was a quick response and thank you for the sugestion
No, it's just because a lot of people make this mistake and I happened to be on at the time. And no problem, let me know if you need any other help.
actually, i forgot to save something and now my image is already uploaded, but it doesn't seem to be written into the template and I'm not sure how to add an already uploaded image into the template.
Well, first you have to put "Amm66 water alchemist" (what you named your file as) as the name. And since the file you uploaded was a "png" and not a "jpg", you have to add "|Ext=png". I already did that for you. However, since the file's name is File:Amm66 water alchemist.png, the name shows up as "Amm66 water alchemist". I suggest changing the name in the template to what you want it to be called, uploading it to that, then asking someone to delete your previous image.
Ikkisuki changed it to a different template, I guess your supposed to use that template for user pages. o.o But it looks nothing like the other template... I guess you have to fill out this instead:
{{Character |Name= |Image=[[Image:Charactername.jpg]] |Server= |Race= |Age= |Title= |Profession= |CP= |Life= |Mana= |Stamina= |Damage= |Defense= |Protection= |STR= |Int.= |Dex.= |Will= |Luck= |Critical= |Hits= |Speed= |Attacks= |Element= |Drop= |Equip= |Advice= |Info= }}
Luckily for you, this template's name and image are segregated, so you can put what you want as the name and leave [[File:Amm66 water alchemist.png]] as the image.
For organization purposes, please avoid using templates not designed for user pages. If you would like, you may copy the monster template and edit it to your desire, or make a template of your own you would like to you. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Post Script: It is called Flame Burst, not Flame Blast. The image File:Flame Burst.png already exists. Use that instead. I have notified the appropriate people to delete the other image.
flamer existed on the list of skills, and that was the image it called up I filled in a dead link o.o
o.o Where exactly was this dead link? If you see a dead link I suggest checking if a similar image already exists and renaming the link.
I entered |skillFlame Burst=y into the info on the template, a red link to flame blast came up, and I gave it the file
Ohhhh! You mislabeled it. It should have been "|skillFlame Burst=y", not "|skillFlame Blast=y". If the template does not have a skill you written in its data, then it shows up as a dead link.
Yeah it didn't show up when I did that. So I looked through the list of skills on the template and Flame Burst was between wind and watter cannon so it must have been intended to be alchemy
Probably because mission monsters use a different template, and no monsters outside of missions use alchemy. I am guessing that part of the data was written before Flame Burst came out, resulting in an untranslated name. I brought this issue up so it may be fixed. (I am not allowed to edit that template.)
When you edit this section for a maintenance, update, etc., please make ONE edit, not several. It takes far too long to change all words to "Online" or "Online- Event" than just simply undoing your last edit to the section.
I know you were the one to change it back and that's fine, but I was in the process of changing it when you revised the page. It's a total waste of time.
Thank you.
