Trivia

• Prior to the September 2022 QoL update, the basic Stardust had five different forms. The Mote of Light became the default form for the basic stardust after that.
• Among the five orbs's official artwork, four are based on actual astronomical bodies.
  • The first is based on the originating item, the Unstable Mote of Light.
  • The second is based on Venus.
  • The third orb is based on Jupiter.
  • The fourth orb is a picture the Moon.
  • The fifth orb is a picture of Earth, The Blue Marble.
• The models of the second and fourth basic-type stardust in-game use the same texture.
• The system's appearance coincides with the aftermath of Generation 25.
