Upgrade Table Changes
Been trying to rework the upgrade sequence table a bit, tell me what you think.
Type (Prof) | Upgrade 1 | Upgrade 2 | Upgrade 3 | Upgrade 4 | Upgrade 5 | Attack | Critical | Balance | Durability | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
222 | Ranald's Broad Sword Enchancement | Tempering 2 | Tempering 3 | Nerys' Broad Sword Modification | Nerys' Broad Sword Modification | 0~73 | 30% | 21% | 7 | |||||
(Labels) | 80 | 28,700 G | 13 | 5,200 G | 19 | 8,000 G | 55 | 21,300 G | 55 | 21,300 G | (Additional Info) |
(Labels) can be used to describe upgrade like HMDMG for High Max damage or LBAL for Low Balance or something along those lines. Maybe even color code them. --Khenta 09:38, 10 June 2008 (PDT)
- Because the table is 2 rows, it will probably look confusing if you stack it. Fifty 21:50, 10 June 2008 (PDT)
Type (Prof) | Upgrade 1 | Upgrade 2 | Upgrade 3 | Upgrade 4 | Upgrade 5 | Attack | Critical | Balance | Durability | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
222 | Ranald's Broad Sword Enhancement | Tempering 2 | Tempering 3 | Nerys' Broad Sword Modification | Nerys' Broad Sword Modification | 0~73 | 30% | 21% | 7 |
I guess that one line is fine...i guess people just can't be lazy and look up the amount of gold and prof needed for each :P. Maybe we can use Discussion to give more details about Types? Like reviews etc? --Khenta 22:23, 10 June 2008 (PDT)
- How's this? I made it sortable too. Fifty 14:42, 11 June 2008 (PDT)
Type (Prof) | Upgrades | Attack | Critical | Balance | Durability | Total Cost |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
222 | Ranald's Broad Sword Enhancement → Tempering 2 → Tempering 3 → Nerys' Broad Sword Modification → Nerys' Broad Sword Modification |
0~73 | 30% | 21% | 7 | 84500 G |
90 | Hilt Change → Weight Reduction → Weight Reduction → Weight Reduction | 31-24 | 12% | 55% | 12 | 8000 G |
I will be using your format Fifty with a bit of change. Going to work it into a template --Khenta 09:02, 3 August 2008 (PDT)
Type (Prof) | Upgrades | Min Atk | Max Atk | Critical | Balance | Durability | Total Cost | Dex for 80% |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
222 | Ranald's Broad Sword Enhancement → Tempering 2 → Tempering 3 → Nerys' Broad Sword Modification → Nerys' Broad Sword Modification |
0 | 73 | 30% | 21% | 7 | 84500 G | |
90 | Hilt Change → Weight Reduction → Weight Reduction → Weight Reduction | 31 | 24 | 12% | 55% | 12 | 8000 G |
- Comment: Ugh, please don't change the labels to HMDMG and LBAL and the like. It's extremely annoying to have no idea what they mean and have to cross reference (or scroll to the top of the chart) to find what they mean again and again, every time I use the tables. I'm speaking from experience here. It's not that hard to keep it "High Damage" really. --- Angevon 12:01, 3 August 2008 (PDT)
ooo, I like these new tables. Might I make a suggestion tho? See below. (btw, what is dex for 80% mean?) -- Ladywinter 10:12, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
Total Prof | Upgrades | Min Atk | Max Atk | Crit | Bal | Dur | Total Cost | Dex for 80% Bal |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
222 | Ranald's Broad Sword Enhancement → Tempering 2 → Tempering 3 → Nerys' Broad Sword Modification → Nerys' Broad Sword Modification |
0 | 73 | 30% | 21% | 7 | 84500 G | 230~250 |
90 | Hilt Change → Weight Reduction → Weight Reduction → Weight Reduction |
31 | 24 | 12% | 55% | 12 | 8000 G |
- I'm going to take a guess and assume that "Dex for 80%" means the amount of dex required to get 80% Balance. With the 222 Broads, I think the number is around 230~250 dex (Needs confirmation). --Zephyre17:04, 17 April 2009 (EST)
- That's right. ---Angevon 22:33, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
- ahh ok, excellent =) -- Ladywinter

- I noticed that at 240 dex, my balance with 222 Broads was 78%. I removed a 5 dex accessory (Resulting in -1% Balance) And then removed a 10 dex accessory after putting the 5 dex accessory back on (Resulted in -2% Balance). Is it safe to say that 1% Balance is equal to 5 dex? If so, 250 dex would be required to have 80% Balance with 222 Broads. Also, no Balance Modifying equipment was worn. Red Skeleton
A Red Skeleton just dropped one for me, and its stats are: 15 min, 32 max, 45% balance, and 1/14 durability. --Jerl 02:54, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

- the one i got had the stats i put up there before. i even still have the sword.--Sozen Cratos Focker 06:46, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
- ....and? Monster dropped items can have varying stats, even from the same monster. If anything, I think any monster can drop any of the various "grades" of dropped weapons. This is certainly true for Wooden Blades and thus far seems true with different Broad Swords I've obtained from various Skeletons and the Giant Spider of Alby Normal. The giant field boss drops (and similar cases) are a specific case though, as are the Solea/Connous Underground drops.--Mystickskye 07:19, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
- Some of the giant Iria field bosses have specific grades, too. I think we're overall still unsure about the normal monster drops. ---Angevon 15:40, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
- S'what I meant when I said giant field boss drops XD Other than that though, I think the standard "dropped grade" seems to max at +4 dura with +3 or thereabouts to crit and max/min. The Giant Field Boss Drops on the other hand are just strange.--Mystickskye 06:34, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
