I ranked this from R9 to R8 and it cost 10AP, not 5. Actually nevermind, that was Knuckle Mastery.
I've noticed that most enemies never try to attack me when I'm in the charging phase, especially Shadow Archers who shoot whenever they get the chance...
So is it me or does this skill have invulnerability frames?
Can someone test if Charging Strike has all of Charge's applications? Including charging speed, what it blocks, etc.
Charging strike is certainly much faster than charge's run speed and it doesn't exactly "block" anything. Charge reduces ranged damage, that's it. Charging strike makes it so normal hits don't even hit you at all. It MIGHT even completely negate magic damage or ranged but I do sorta doubt that.
How would it be converted from a Percentage to Meters? Because we don't use % variables and I don't understand it one bit.
The whole distance thing is a mess as is, so there's no need to change it to meters. If you really have issues with it, just multiply the distance by the number-equivalent. Another issue is that you can't put down a fixed distance, since it varies per weapon/weapon splash range. Look at the skill Spirit Weapon Awakening (excluding bows). The range % increase on spirit weapon awakening is based on splash range of that particular weapon. (Already tested out this theory by using spirit weapon awakening with a dagger and a dragon blade; awakening with dragon blade reached a lot further than it did with a dagger).
I've yet to play around with charging strike, but my guess is that the distance mod uses the splash range on the knuckles that you have equipped. If that's the case, then you can't put a fixed distance down, since it varies per weapon. (Same applies to spirit weapon awakening, so I might have to revert the values on that page back to the old values >_>).
