For some reason, I've never gotten the transformation collecton quests. I've already conpleted G17 and The Saga: Iria. I have over 200 hunted monsters too. Anyone else have this issue?

I don't think I have gotten em either, only 55 mobs but still.

Edit: I have a friend who didn't finish G17 and she got em.

Oops. I confused hunting quests with transformation quests. I've only got 19 transformations collected and I need 30 to receive the quest from Shamala.

There are no hunting quests at all. The hunt diary is some track record but it offers no rewards or anything.

Man, I already finished G17 but I really want that strength from the transformation quests... Do they eventually patch Shamala in in G18?

I don't think they did yet, no...

Maybe this friday because apparently that is when Shamala comes back into the story so hopefully they'll add her NPC somewhere.

If I remember correctly, you rescue her in Episode 2?

Before taking my nap, I completed the First of the fishing journal quests and check to find that about 3 hours (real time) has passed and have yet to get the next one. I am at 23/30 and afraid to miss the 24 mark for the life rod.

Ehh it looks like the wait time's around...a 4 hours...

Duncan says that you won't get anything big while auto-fishing. Is it true? As it is, I've only gotten average sized fish from auto-fishing...

Old thread but putting an answer here for those who are wondering.

Duncan's claim that you won't catch large fish while autofishing is entirely erroneous. One of my alts caught a Carnivorous Fish while autofishing at Rank 9. It's entirely possible to catch the big stuff while autofishing.

Then perhaps its just less likely in autofishing?

Perhaps. There'd be a lot of observed autofishing and manual fishing required to prove that either way though.

I think he means you'll never auto-fish a 5 star fish with auto-fishing (even with +size reforge). Looking at my journal, I think there's a 3 star wall.

Yeah, i'm talking about the 5 star ones.

Never started a discussion before, but has anyone seen how to get a 5 star monster for taming, anywhere around the web for Mabinogi or Nexon, and does anyone know how to keep track or where it shows? I would assume it means the kind of monster with the highest combat power, but I have no idea. But if so, please do tell. Would be very much appreciated. ;~;

It's the highest CP monster of the same type. However, not all monsters have a 5-star version. For some even 3 star is max.

Edit: Does this include Hard Mode versions?

The difficulty of the shadow mission and mode of dungeon does not affect stars. (Which confuses me since it's CP based, might be CP based on normal/basic version?)

Alright. I'll try that out sometime soon since I already have the 5 Star quest going. I wonder if it changes in your collection journal, so you can keep track. Thanks.
