Description

It makes no sense. --Lonetalker 02:02, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

Well I don't know if this is what the page means, but I just put a list of non-event items I have received through chests in exploring. Correct me if I'm wrong.--Babohtea 19:52, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

Event?

Hooked Cutlass is not an event-only item, it's been found by at least 3 people after the event and is listed below. - ShariCooper

Apparently, a lot of the items being pulled out of the ground are event-only and won't be findable afterwards. I do think we should keep this possibility in mind.

Its a possibility, but its beyond my conceptions at least. The event-only items should be the ones the games announces as event-only. Hooked Cutlass, Glove of Extravaganza and Tricolor Robe. The other items are NOT announced as event items, so its quite safe to assume they'd be available after event. Also, some items, such as Starlight Robe, are ONLY attainable through exploration. I seriously doubt that the Starlight Robe is an item that is only available during event, as it doesn't seem to carry the other event-items (gachapon only, non-tradable, everyone gets them, etc.) Especially unlikely is that all foreign servers had the same exact event as we did as the only way to attain Starlight Robes. Hopes this makes sense to you. --Babohtea 21:37, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
Actually, Hooked Cutlasses are most definitely a normal exploration item in the overseas servers, to the point that they average 10k in one of them. SEVERAL items which aren't announced as event-only items are likely not to be event only items going by all I've read into exploration in overseas servers. However it's possible that Nexon NA will change the item assortment but this is all moot. My main point is that we should be careful with this list, what we add to it and whether or not many of these items will or will not be findable once the event ends. I don't think this is something so hard to do.--Mystickskye 22:23, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

The event is confusing many people. But... Hooked cutlasses are normal exploration items. Admiral Coats, Dustins, Tioz, Gargoyle swords, machetes, butcher knives, Dragon Blades, Japanese Swords, almost all clothing, armors, hats, helments, fireball pages, ice spear page 2, and exploration diary page 3... They're not normal drops at all in foreign servers. Majikaru 19:54, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

The event is now over, let's see how this turns out~--Mystickskye 09:26, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

Going by the little bit I've explored and what I've heard from others since the event ended, this page is now grossly inaccurate.--Mystickskye 07:42, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

I agree. --Babohtea 17:16, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
I disagree. I think Nexon only announced the event items. Otherwise the scrolling text would of said; "Playername has found Tioz Armor (F)!" What sense would it be to have items that all the other servers have as normal items, while NA can't get them anymore without an event? That'd seem unfair and that'd probably upset people. The way Nexon would see that is 'Unhappy people = no money, Happy people = money' -Hakumei 23:01, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
Uh, the other servers didn't get most of the items as normal items. Read above, the "normal items" for overseas exploration included things like cutlasses (which as you may know, came up as an "event item"). Besides which, most of the items found in this event can be obtained through other means.--Mystickskye 02:40, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
When I said 'normal' I meant by being able to be obtained by dungeon drops or by NPC shops. The other oversea servers had the Tioz Armor sold by Ferghus, and the Goggle Cap and Starlight Robe were sold by Simon. I don't think the list is incorrect, people can just remove what hasn't been found in chests after the event, and if it is found, people can just add it back on. -Hakumei 22:24, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
"All the other servers" don't have them as "normal items" either (and again, the vast majority of the items are already available through some form in the game). IIRC the Tioz didn't even come out in Ferghus' secret shop till later and people are claiming that the methods for finding items like Starlight Robes come in later dungeons. At this point, the current list should probably be put under the event section and we should start a new list for maximum clarity.--Mystickskye 03:03, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
My friends have found some of the rarer items in the chests still, such as cutlasses and firewands. One of my friends said that Starlight is still possible, and 2 of them said Tioz is still availible. So I'm guessing they only have those event items that were announced were the only ones that were 'event only' and they increased the chances for the chests only.-Hakumei 01:39, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Do we know...

Which items on this list ARE accurate and which are not? I know for certain that two hands, shortbows and some enchants should be on the list, as well as the potions. Not sure about most of the rest of it. Should we just restart the list according to what we can gurantee works or modify it as we explore? Rydrion 01:09, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

This page is bothering me. I vote we make a new one and label this "event". ---Angevon 05:36, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
Sounds alright to me, anyone else want to put in their two cents? Rydrion 18:30, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
It's what I suggested before, this page has always bothered me. Let's just make a new one for maximum clarity.--Mystickskye 21:15, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
Angevon already moved the whole list to Exploration Treasures (Event). --Aramet 21:41, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Exploration Exp

I have very clearly and on more than one occassion gotten Exploration Exp for finding a chest without having a run-in with chest guardians. Anyone know what the actual condition for getting exploration exp is?--Mystickskye 21:21, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Exploration exp only comes from Treasure chests that would normaly be in that specific spot. these chests are not a part of the event and spawn regardless.some chests that can be found via exploration do not have guardians and are normally a potion or gold. Though it is possible to still get another item from these chests. I hope this has been of some assistance.--DinArcher 14:16, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
Would've had the answer been supplied at the time I asked :p Figured it out a loooooong time ago. My confusion at the time resulted due to what people had written on the page.--Mystickskye 07:21, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

Second version

We will probably get new cloths and adv wands from here too now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Random (talkcontribs) . Please always sign your comments with the Signature.png button or by typing ~~~~!

Event only items

I think it should be noted that event chests don't give exploration exp when they're discovered. Therefore, I don't think items from exp-bearing chests should be listed as true event items, as they're probably normal Rano chests and people are just getting confused. Myself, I've been digging all day in Connous and I've yet to find a single enchant scroll or potion. Should they really be included on the list? Qaccy 20:52, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

I agree. So far I've got potions, enchants and gold only from the chests that give exploration experience. I'm guessing that all the normal exploration items can still be found during the event. --Lunarin 17:11, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
I would like to confirm that chests that give exploration exp are not apart of the event but normally spawning chests. I would suggest to take the time to sort those items and enchants from these lists and have those posting them to be wary of the differences. --DinArcher 13:54, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

Pages

Do we know whether or not we can get the same pages as last time, such as EJ3? Is the list of pages still being changed, or is that the definitive and final list? Lhazzal 03:16, 1 October 2009 (UTC)

EJ3 Does drop during this event. I just got it myself from an event chest (no exploration exp). I've also obtained EJ2, EJ4, AR2 and AR3 personally. I hope this aids in answering your question to some degree. Jspillers 13:08, 2 October 2009 (UTC)

umm...

what is this event about? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dtdsora (talkcontribs) . Please always sign your comments with the Signature.png button or by typing ~~~~!

Chests are more common and have items you normally cannot get from Exploration. --Aramet (Talk) 16:38, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
in Many players eyes this is a stimulus event to get more people online and ready for upcoming Generation 8:Dragon. --DinArcher 14:18, 6 October 2009 (UTC)

trick for speed?

i discover that most of the event chests are in pairs with normal chests and most chests reappear in the same place, i'm sure many others found this too. i'm not sure but searching in rows of an found chest may help you find the chests faster, what do you guys think? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sgatlantis (talkcontribs) . The chests that come in pairs happens because there's actually an original chest next to it. You'll notice that of the pair, one of them will give you exploration exp and generally have less spectacular items such as a potion and a small amount of gold (though this isn't always the case, normal exploration items can also include weapons, enchants and so forth). The chests do however have preassigned locations and set respawn times which is why they reappear in the same place.--Mystickskye 22:58, 2 October 2009 (UTC)

Dustin Helm

On the Dustin Silver Knight Helm page, it says that the helmet can be found from the second Iria Chest Event (30th~October 6th, 2009 ). However, this page does not say you can find the Dustin Helmet from the chests. I know it's past, but I'm just curious about it. o3o --Simpet 03:45, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
