Theoretically speaking, higher levels mean higher chance of better rewards right? Although it seems random, I haven't gotten anything decent being a low level...so far due to some freakish luck, I always got a dud, and have gotten many "useless" treasure in the past hour...I've done this 6 times already.
I don't think so. I'm pretty sure the only reason for the existence of higher levels is to counter the huge parties.
I'm pretty sure it would affect drops...I mean more effort means more rewards right...though then again...*looks back at Ice Spear on elf*
Pyro's right. The difficulty is increased when you have more players so it doesn't become too easy.It's like how the number of waves per room in alby adv HM varies with the number of people in your party. Though I wish that there'd be a chance to skip to the reward room like in Falias. >>;
According to package, there should be 8 levels of the Falias Treasure Quest, since there are 8 different types of Falias Minigame Aonbarrs, one for each level.
On the map of Falias, in the map key, it includes Eabha. Although Eabha is there, that is a spoiler to the actual storyline. The map is not placed inside a spoiler tag either. I suggest reuploading the image with the word "Gatekeeper" replacing the name "Eabha". If we cannot do that, I suggest putting it in a spoiler tag.
I don't have enough evidence to support this yet so I'd like to get some help testing how the stage level is calculated. At the moment, I believe that stage level is based off of the total levels of all the party members added together and then compared to a predefined table of values. For example:
Stage level 1 - Level total = 1~300 Stage level 2 - Level total = 301~900 Stage level 3 - Level total = 901~1800 Stage level 4 - Level total = 1801~3000 Stage level 5 - Level total = 3001~4500 Stage level 6 - Level total = 4501~6300 Stage level 7 - Level total = 6301~8400 Stage level 8 - Level total = 8401~10800
And so forth. Incidentally, these values already work with what I have tested but my only character that can go to Falias and start this quest is already in stage level 3 just by going solo. Going with different combinations of my friends with varying total levels yielded correct stage levels according to this theory and these values as well. That isn't really enough to confirm how stage levels are chosen, but it's a start at least. Blargel 11:41, 31 December 2010 (PST)
Errr, sorry I forgot you needed to do a double line break in wikitext for it to display a linebreak. Here's the chart again with linebreaks.
Stage level 1 - Level total = 1~300
Stage level 2 - Level total = 301~900
Stage level 3 - Level total = 901~1800
Stage level 4 - Level total = 1801~3000
Stage level 5 - Level total = 3001~4500
Stage level 6 - Level total = 4501~6300
Stage level 7 - Level total = 6301~8400
Stage level 8 - Level total = 8401~10800
Also, is there anyway way to edit your own post in this thread system? It's pretty inconvenient...
