Falias Treasure Quest
How to Start a Falias Treasure Quest
- The party leader must have the Brionac and a Falias Fragment and use either Demigod or Shock on him/herself to open a Portal of Falias.
- The leader must also have completely finished Generation 12 to start the quest. Otherwise, you will still be allowed to go to Falias but no quest will start.
- Only the leader of the party needs to open a portal.
- Other party members do not need to have any requirements.
- Other party members can enter the portal to Falias after the leader has first entered.
- You do not need to be in a party to start the quest. You may enter the portal you made by yourself if you choose to do so.
- Difficulty of the monsters is based on the stage level which is displayed near the top right corner of the screen when the monsters first spawn. The stage level is influenced by the total levels of the party members as well as the size of the party.
- Level 1 is 1~499 cumulative levels.
- Level 2 is 500~999 cumulative levels.
- Level 3 is 1000~1999 cumulative levels.
- Level 4 is 2000~2999 cumulative levels.
- Level 5 is 3000~3999 cumulative levels.
- Level 6 is 4000~4999 cumulative levels.
- Level 7 is 5000+ cumulative levels.
Inside Falias
- When you arrive in Falias, six Aonbharrs will spawn near the floating stone just past the entrance.
- You must kill these Aonbharrs to proceed.
- Pure Crystals and Red Pure Crystals drop from Aonbharrs.
- Be wary of the floating stone near these Aonbharrs. When red energy starts swirling around it, it will Chain Cast Fireball or Thunder on the nearest player.
- After all six are defeated, the original party leader must go to the altar near the north of the map and click on it. One of three things may happen:
- Rarely, the altar will be broken already and nothing else can be done.
- Sometimes, the quest will be an automatic success and random party members will be rewarded with a random Treasure of Falias.
- Most of the time, a trap will activate, causing a large amount of Aonbharrs to spawn and rush the altar.
- When this happens, the objective is to prevent them from reaching the altar at all costs by killing them.
- When an Aonbharr reaches the altar, it will despawn and a message will appear announcing that the altar is being sealed.
- If too many Aonbharrs reach the altar, you will fail the quest.
- You may also fail if there are too many Aonbharrs on the field at once.
- It is possible to stop the Aonbharrs from reaching the altar by enclosing it in a large Barrier Spike ring.
- If the party successfully protects the altar, random party members will be rewarded with a random Treasure of Falias.
- If the party fails, all the remaining Aonbharrs will despawn after a few seconds.
Method used in case of Aonbharr trigger
- This method requires at least 4 players, 3 of which have to have a high rank in Intermediate Magic.
- It is recommended to prepare well before starting the Falias mini-game.
- The party leader is the "Altar Guardian" and will catch any Aonbharrs that manage to escape the magic.
- There can be multiple "Altar Guardians". Just make sure you notify one another if an Aonbharr gets away.
- Casters should only focus on one spawn point.
- Set the player with the strongest Thunder in area 1.
- This will be the main spawn point of the Aonbharrs if a trap is triggered.
- Make sure the casters have charged all 5 times before you investigate the altar!
- This will be the main spawn point of the Aonbharrs if a trap is triggered.
- Have someone with a high rank in Ice Spear/Thunder stand in area two.
- Have them charge all 5 times
- Silver Aonbharrs are resistant to ice-type attacks, keep this in mind while fighting them.
- If you have to substitute magic, a very high rank in Crash Shot is recommended.
- Have them charge all 5 times
- Set another person with a high rank in Ice Spear/Thunder in area three.
- Again have them charge all 5 times.
- After you have confirmed everyone has fully charged magics, click on the altar.
- If the altar triggers a trap, then once the Aonbharrs spawn, unleash the magics.
- The party leader can assist, usually the one with a lower rank in magic, to catch any stragglers.
- Have all the members of the party cast as much of their magic as they can before the second round of spawns appear.
- This is especially true if a player is casting fireball if someone has chosen to do so.
- Do not intervene with the casters! Let them cast the magic first, then if there are any left, or they went into deadly, then you can assist.
- There should be only 3 waves of Aonbharrs.
Rewards
- Rewards are given if the party is successful either by protecting the altar from Aonbharrs or from a "freebie."
- Not all party members may receive a treasure. It is randomized.
- The party leader, however, is guaranteed one.
- Players may also receive Nuadha's robe (for females or males), gloves, or boots. Wearing the entire set increases the length of Awakening of Light by one minute and increases the damage of Demigod skills by 25%.
- All rewards are a Treasure of Falias in their Ideal form. You may ask Dorren to restore them.
- The Aonbharrs also drop Pure Crystals and Red Pure Crystals which are used in restoring these treasures.
