The 1 cast 1 fish quest itself says that you won't catch big fish when auto fishing, but is it really true? It feels to me like it is. I've been constantly auto-fishing in Scathach for months now, and the fish is always at least 1 cm away from being 5 star. I still have no 5 stars except for the carnivorous fish and the ones with no size. Haven't been using fishing size reforges.

As per the Fishing page, the size of the auto-fish is capped depending on your Fishing rank.

I'm rank 1. Forgot to mention sorry. It doesn't really mention auto fish being capped as far as I can see. Just says size in general and auto fishing success rate.

Does it really deserve it? The rate is nothing like a Sturgeon, Carnivorous Fish, or Marine Pearl Oyster.

The fishing locations appear to be incongruent to the Fished Items List page. This needs to be tested further.
