Talk:Handicraft List/Archive/00

From Mabinogi World Wiki

Dose anyone know when this comes out ~ 12:32 --hawk400206

About 2 Hours.

I thought it was atleast G5. >.>

We're really breaking the Talk page. I should learn some Proper Wiki formatting. But It's part of G2S4.

Wood Board

okay i apologise, but i did a quick revision on the wood board reqs... mabi's handicraft reqs when making the board show 5nails,5firewood,2 iron bars, and 2 tough threads... but when i go to put the items in there it does not register the iron bars, nor the tough thread... I asked another person in game who ranked through to 6, and i was told that its not Touch thread, but the one that is made from "thick yarn" i assume to be tough string as was posted earlier... I also made a revision to change iron pipe to iron bar since, again, that was what was listed on mabi's handicraft reqs page.

Long and short of it... whats the REAL reqs for Wood Board? (reference how to acquire/craft these required components of the production too please)

Ice Sword, Eweca Shield

omg, I'm facinated, MORE DETAILS PLZ. =D -- Ladywinter 21:15, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

Unfortunately they're event items only. Well, overseas they were at least and this makes me inclined to think that the materials required for them are available via event. Not only that, IIRC after the event they either can't be used or run out of dura and can't be repaired. Pity too, the icicle swords don't have half bad stats.--Mystickskye 22:47, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Page Formatting and or Layout

Just a pair of questions / requests about the use of two tables instead of one.

Could we combine both tables for ease of use or is that a bigger issue than jumping back and forth?

Can the columns for levels be colour coded or demarcated some way to make the success table easier to read?

I ask this since the columns are so tight its hard to keep track of what number is in what column. --Thrudd 17:17, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

Magic Powder

Do all three types of magic powder offer the same success % for Enchanting?, if not is it a bug? --Health

Elite offers the most out of all 3 magic powder with blessed the 2nd best (as sold by magic shop npcs).--Dra6o0n

-- I was referring to the handicrafted powders.... I made all three. They all are the same. Higher quality gems = higher % of making it. Only difference. -- Health

Stationary Table

Purpose of Stationary Table? Google revealed nothing. I'm assuming it's decorative. Health

Its furniture used to decorate your residential house. I have only seen one table, in a residential house, which matched the image in the Handicraft List for the "Stationary Table" but it had the in-game name of "Table". Its description was "A table useful for writing letters, reading, and other office-related activities.". This is not the description given by the "Table" sold in Lorraine's and Elain's shops (nor do they look the same in the inventory or inside a house). --ZRoc 01:28, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Added Sections

Although the 4 new sections I created (Basic Info, Notes, Requirements and Success Percentages per Rank) are meant to provide information there are other reasons as well. I also made the 4 sections so that there would be a table of contents which makes it easier to get to the 2nd list. Also the section names for the 2 lists makes it easier to link to a specific one. --ZRoc 03:29, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Required Handicraft Rank

Hi. New here, so I don't have the hang of the whole edit wiki thing just yet, but noticed some Required Handicraft Ranks are missing. So I added F (kept the question mark) in the column beside Holy Potion of Lymilark, Ladle, and Paper Hat. Unless they're some Handicrafted items available at Novice Rank, I'm pretty sure those three are available at Rank F. (Both my characters are Rank F Handicraft and both have the above listed when they use their skill. Now actually being sucessful making those three items is another question entirely.) --Chal 22:23, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Bean Rank?

Peeled bean says item rank F in the top section. Bean says D in the bottom section. If they are the same thing, one has to be wrong.--~Shadoe 08:35, 3 March 2010 (UTC)

Gachapon Repair Kits

The items that are repaired with handicraft should be added to this list, I think. Seeing as how the dungeon passes are included. That would be the ribbons, armor, wands, and whatever else there is. I'm terrible with editing these formats, otherwise I'd just do it. Jessha 07:05, 14 June 2010 (UTC)

Popping on my handicraft kit, the ones missing from this list are Metal Lightning Wand, Christmas Ornament, Ruyuefeixue's Butterfly Fan, Bonita Twin Ribbon, Dittes Sacred Wand, Snowball, and Claus Knight Armor. Jessha 07:12, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
Done and done. Correct the information if it's wrong, as I've never repaired any equipment with repair kits before. --κєνıи тαıĸ«) 07:26, 14 June 2010 (UTC)

Repair Kit Success Rate?

Is there a chance of failure with the repair kits, or will it always succeed? And if you can fail, do you lose the kit? --Sisakat 21:01, 27 June 2010 (UTC)

I'm at rD so I can't speak for lower ranks but it says 99% for all of the repair types. I've never tried it, though I've never heard of it failing. Which leads me to think it's like handmade arrows, which list 99% even at rE yet having made thousands of them I have never failed. Ket 05:30, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
